O'Che's is a small bar on Liliova which is one of the streets off Karlova which leads down to the river from the Old Town Square. It is a bit of a mixture of ideas, the jokey name coming from it's slightly vague attempt at Cuban decor (there is a large picture of Che Guevara) and the fact that it serves Guiness. None of this really matters, however, as the staff are friendly and they seem to welcome everyone from young locals to British rugby teams with the same enthusiasm. Apart from the Guiness they serve Czech lager, an array of cocktails and have an English orientated menu of bar food. They also screen major football matches which you'll either find irritating or very welcome depending on your own p.o.v. The point is, if you're on your own there always seems to be someone there to talk to, not least the staff who seem to be made up partly from Praguers(?) and partly from foreign travellers who need a job for a while, and the overall feel is cosmopolitan and relaxed. The bar is owned by an Englishman who, if he's around, tends to 'lord it' a bit, but then it is his bar.
