So a group of us, some Christian and others not so Christian went with Oakhall for a ski trip in Switzerland. Oakhall has their own ... ...bad weather.
Oakhall employed their own ski instructors and this made it even cheaper to be taught how to ski/snowboard whichever you prefered.
The accomodation was based on Hostel form, but I was priviledged to share a room with a friend. Unfortunately no mixed sexes allowed to sleep in the room, unless you are married!! But hey, a cheap ski holiday, it was worth it.

The hostel was based in Saas Grund. We either went to go ski at Saas Grund or Saas Fee nearby. There was a 3rd place if both places were shut down due to bad weather.

The only extra thing that you had to do to make the holiday cheaper, was to set breakfast tables and clear as well as dinner once during your stay. And this didn't take long.
My flights, accomodation, ski pass, ski instructor, hire of gear and other expenses came to approx £500. Not bad for 6 days skiing, meals, tuition and other restuarant and dare I say it drinking!!

Quick review of Oakhall - Oakhall
We have been on 2 ski holidays as a family (2 adults & 3 teenagers) and we have always had the most fantastic time. The leaders are excellent at teaching skiing/ snowboarding and they really look after you. The group is mainly families, single 20s & 30s and a few older people. Everyone gets on really well together so it does not matter what age you are. Most evenings there is a short time of worship & bible teaching. Afterwards there is another activity such as bowling or a fondue at a local hotel. Oakhall holidays are really good value and great fun. ...

Quick review of Oakhall - Oakhall
We have been on 3 skiing holidays with Oakhall. We found the ski teaching far superior to some of the secular holidays we went on - I think because I felt they were genuinely interested in each of our progress rather than it just being their 'job' as such, and the kit was far better too. The company of others in the evening was great and because we were going as a married couple we had our own room (so didnt need to share with anyone we didnt know). The food was hot, tasty and filling. Not 5 star but lots of it which to my mind is all I was intesested in after an active day on the slopes! ...
