This is a dream getaway to a Manor House in the most splendid grounds and gardens located on the river. The ducks follow you as you admire the architecture. Any activity imaginable is available from Archery to Picnics in Hampers and boat hire.
All of the rooms are splendid with great views. The food is fabulous too. The hotel offers romantic weekends, has full spa facilities and is an ideal location for Business Team Building Events, Weddings and other Themed Breaks.
Once discovered you will certainly return. I will be at the end of this month and a group of us our already booked in for the Christmas Festivities. By calling the hotel direct I beat all online prices.

Originally built in 1859, this splendid and much extended Victorian Gothic mansion, Oakley Court Hotel, is enviably situated in extensive grounds leading down to the Thames. Stylish public rooms are comfortable and there are a number of useful conference suites including a converted boathouse. Only a handful of bedrooms are in the main house with the majority located in adjoining wings. All rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished and many enjoy river views. The Oakleaf restaurant offers guests an interesting range of carefully prepared dishes and during Summer, alfresco dining is available. Oakley Court Hotel is also equipped with a smart leisure club, a small nine hole golf course and boating trips can be easily arranged.
For the past 5 or 6 years my family and i have gone away for christmas as a treat. This stops all the age old arguments about washing up and allows us all to spend some real quality time together and relax.
