Lovely holiday. We arrived and my immediate impressions were positive. I loved how well kept the place looked, the paint work perfect, the gardens were beautifuly maintained, everything looked spick and span.
When we got to the room was amazed to find how big it was and this too was very clean, the bathroom was all marble tiles. I was glad to see that the safety box was a proper safe in the hotel room which you programmed your own code to use it, rather than the safes sometimes in the reception that use a key. However, after staying at fuerteventura I felt my belongings were safe but you can never too sure.
The food - breakfast was good. The spanish attempt at english breakfast was not too good as the sausages were frankfurt, bacon a little fatty and scrammbled egg bit dry. But they freshly made fried eggs and pancakes in front of you on the hot grill. There was plenty of bread available with three toasters. A range of butter and jams for toast and chocolate sauce, honey, jam and lemon juice for the pancakes. There was continental breakfasts (hams, cheese, salami, yoghurts, fruit) and cereal and fresh milk. Cereals were usually cornflakes, muesli, sugar puffs, cocopops. And they tasted normal not like cardboard like some places. There was more than this just cant do a full menu!
Lunch - good range in the restaurant, always something to find you liked and a wide range of stuff too. Always lovely salads and pasta dishes. Always meat that was cooked properly, selections of veg, potatoes and chips. baggettes and a range of hams, salad, cheese and butter if want to make bagettes. selection of pizza and lots more! The small service bar outside was not too great as food was not constantly bought out and changed as in the restaurant so its best eating dinner in the restaurant.
Dinner - always some kind of meat being cooked on the grill in front (steaks, chicken breast), carverys being cut off by the chefs some days (beef, turkey) one day we could get a sunday lunch with gravy - YUM! Other stuff such as fish in sauces, pasta dishes veg, potatoes, chips, salad and more........ Sometimes odd things that you just have too try, if ya dont like you can try sommat else. Go up as many times as you like!
Deserts were strange, funny looking cakes, green gelly (which dont eat coz made with water). I kept to little pots of different flavoured ice cream you could get out of a fridge. A range of hot drinks, cold soft drinks, juices, beer and wines in the retsaurant that you can help yourself too.
The entertainment - was that rubbish it was funny, and with the all inclusive bar getting a bit merry makes it even funnier. Its mainly aimed towards kids, bingo on odd occaisions but plenty of bars to go to down the town with entertainment which is easy to walk to but not too close that your on towns doorstep. Oasis village is set in a good quiet location.

The beaches were amazing, the red flag was up most days but for kids there are a few coves where the sea was shallow and very calm. If you walked out of the apartment straight down towards the coastline and followed the coast towards the sanddunes you can find many coves along the way which are quiet, instead of going to the main calm water beach in town.
Be careful of boat trips if you get sea sick. Sea quite rough. Me and my partner got ill on a sea fishing trip because I was just watching i could sit and watch the horizon which made me feel better but if you are doing the fishing you will feel much worse.
All in all a great holiday, great hotel, friendly staff, clean, quaint, family and coupley orientated in a good situation where it is quiet but can reach the town with a 5 minute walk. (to get to sanddune beach cost on average 4 Euros by taxi - approx £3. or its 2 Euros by shuttle bus from the hotel, to walk will take approx 45 mins)
