Advantages: Lots to see and do, original, good value for money Disadvantages: None
...Myself and my boyfriend recently went to holiday in Bangkok Thailand and while we were there we visited the Siam Ocean World.
Location
The Siam Ocean World is located on the first and second floors of the Siam Paragon Shopping centre which is pretty much in the middle of the City of Bangkok.
Siam Ocean World
The entrance consists of the ticket booths where visitors can purchase their tickets. The tickets vary in price depending on what you want to see when you get in. WE decided we wanted to see the 4D Theatre, the Glass Bottom Boat and the Aquariums. For this ticket we paid £8 which we thought was reasonable.
Just inside the entrance to Siam Ocean World, there is a gift shop called Shark Shop where you can purchase the normal merchandise of key rings, paperweights and mugs etc.
Just to the left of the entrance...

Advantages: Possibly the Smallest and Most Accessable Shopping Centre I;ve ever seen Disadvantages: None, maybe it doesn't have enough Stairs.
...Now, I must warn you to start, I live in Manchester, England so you may think that my view may be dodgy, being 200 miles away from Edinburgh. But actually, living in Manchester gives me a unique outlook on shopping. We have the Arndale, The Lowry and The Trafford centre which means I can compare the Ocean terminal to them. Little bit of Background, The Ocean Terminal is located, as the name would suggest, near the sea. It's ten minutes drive from the World Famous Princes Street in North Edinburgh. Follow the signposts from the Motorways or Edinburgh by-pass to HMS Britannia. It's about 10 minutes from Edinburgh Waverley Station and 30 mins drive from Edinburgh Airport.
Possibly the biggest attraction for the whole family is in fact HMS Britannia, I went on recommendation from a friend...

...Great Ocean Road Day Tour
**GO WEST**
Go West is a touring company which specialises in small group size tours. It is a day tour from Melbourne which will take you to the Great Ocean Road. This tour company has something which I have never seen done before and that is they provide you with a PSP on the way home so you can watch a movie (they have several choices). They even have an educational video about the Great Ocean Road. If you want this service you will have to produce a passport, credit card or Australian drivers licence as a deposit for security. You will get it back as soon as you hand the PSP back.
**TOUR**
This tour cost me $95 which included morning tea. I thought it was fantastic value for the distance you travelled and how much you seen in one day. I do feel that the tour is targeted towards backpackers...
