Just returned from the Villa`s and vino`s cruise with Ocean Village 2 and was very very impressed. First of all I must say after reading certain negative reviews, some people MUST be hard to please. They have criticised the food, which both my wife and I thought was wonderful, plentiful and a choice to please all, except a certain few who must be the most hard to please of people. In fact, some have criticised most the ship had to offer. If it`s fantastic food with a great choice, great trips on offer and great friendly service, don't book an Ocean village tour, go to your Benidorms instead. Some folk just moan for moanings sake. This cruise was our first, it was our pearl wedding anniversary and we did not want any formal evenings with the Captain etc, we just wanted to wear casual all through the week, and that's what Ocean Village is about. We arrived just after one pm and waited until 3pm for our cabin allocation. We had cabin 10115 with a window, plenty of room and drawer space, more than enough for both of us. We went for something to eat and was amazed by the choice of different dishes, whatever you wanted was most likely to be on the menu. We used the evening to mooch around the ship and settled later in the Casbah bar, we got chatting to another couple of similar age and spent a good evening with them. The staff are extremely friendly and cannot do enough for you. My next vacation shall be onboard Ocean Village.
