Based just outside of High Wycombe in Wooburn Common, Odds Farm Park is fantastic for EVERYONE.
Its a great way to get the kids out in the fresh air, running about and learning stuff too.
We discovered the wonders of Odds Farm Park with our two little boys and regularly go there with Grandparents, uncles, aunts and friends because there really is something for everyone.
The farm is full of lots of animals (pygmy goats, rabbits, pigs, cows, chickens, sheep, ducks, guinea pigs- i'm sure there a others too!), aswell as 2 superb playground areas with swings slides, sandpits etc.(one for the really little ones and one for bigger kids), plus several tracks or areas for carting/ tractor trikes etc outside. There is also a large area at the further end of the farm with various activites, play equipment, not forgetting the recently opened maze and more toilets. There are several handwash points and lots of picnic benches too. Well thats just outside.....
Inside / under cover are the stacked hay bails to clamber over plus a large slide (all of which is enjoyed by kids and adults (on the pretence of helping- of course!) There is another little area for under 3s to pedal around in little cars/ trikes and a soft play area. All of these areas have picnic benches so its easy to sit back and watch the little ones play. The toilets are kept clean and always have plenty of loo roll, soap and hand towels.
Also inside is the cafe/restaurant which has a good range of your basics (jacket potatoes, pasties, sandwiches etc aswell as the usual kids meals- hot and cold). The tea and coffee is good too. But the main surprise is that its reasonably priced as well as good food.
The staff here are very friendly too, which makes a pleasant change. The shop has some lovely bits and pieces and if you have an annual pass you get 15% off goods in there (not on food).
Its worth checking out their website www.oddsfarm.co.uk as it has up to date info on the special events for the time of year and the demos that are taking place...like helping to feed the lambs, sheep racing, cow milking . They also have tractor rides as long as the fields aren't too wet.
The prices recently went up, which is the only vaguely negative thing i can say about Odds Farm- however as i said the food and drink is very reasonably priced and if you make even half a day of it its good value. As you'll see the annual passes work out to be great value, because we have them it doesn't matter if we only stay for an hour or so if the weather isn't great.

It really is easy to spend a couple of hours there even on a wet day, because of the undercover activities, cafe and some animals are undercover too (rabbits, guinea pigs and sometimes the goats and sheep- depending on the time of year).
Directions are available on the website, but it is easily accessible from both the M4 and the M40.A thooughly good day out for the whole family.
