This hotel is suggested for those who wish to explore the Athenian nightlife, in the area of Psiri - just steps away from the property - there are some of the finest restaurants in Athens, along with stylish bars, cafes, traditional Greek taverns and popular nightclubs. As for transportation, even if the destination of interest is far from the city\\\'s centre, guests can have quick and easy access since the hotel lies only 200 metres away from the Omonia underground station. Warm hospitality and attentive service will make your business or leisure stay an extremely enjoyable one.
Advantages: fun, charming and diverting city with plenty of interesting things to see and do; great variety of bars and restaurants Disadvantages: has some shonky areas, may bring you to spend more than you'd like
...The city of Athens, Georgia, USA, is one of those eclectic university towns scattered all the way across the country. If you're an American and a seasoned college student, you know all about what that means - an infinite variety of bars, pubs, theatres and crack houses. And, of course, a vast number of students to take advantage of whichever of these vices may take their fancy. In this particular case, it's the enormous campus of the University of Georgia which has set up shop in this interesting town.
Athens is about 70 miles from Atlanta, anywhere from an hour to an hour and a half drive depending on various things - the traffic, whether there is a thunderstorm present, or if someone has managed to cark it somewhere along the road and has thus blocked it in some manner. Once you're out of the suburban and ugly sprawl of Atlanta you...

Advantages: large cinema, night screening, many restaurants Disadvantages: no parking around
...Odeon cinema complex in Kingston Upon Thames is a favourite destination for families, couples, groups and individuals from all over the area/county. It is one of the biggest cinemas around and it has got a choice of restaurants, bars and 12 screens which makes it easier with choosing from current movies.
The complex is orientated oposite the Kingston train station and its short distance to high street. It is busy area and always buzzing. When you walk in through glass door you can either go upstairs using escalator or lift or downstairs.
The ground floor has a restaurant during the day and bar in the night. I think they have got evening restaurant in separate area from tables when youngsters usually drink before hitting the nightclub Oceana next door.
Lower level has got Bowling and other entertainment with bar and fast food...

Advantages: there wasn't any! Disadvantages: no food or drink, dirty, screens didn't work, didn't show any of the top movies
...we wanted to see.
From the outside, the cinema doesn't seem as impressive or big compared to the Vue cinema I usually go to in Cambridge. We walked through the doors, to find a large, virtually empty room. There was a really old arcade machine to the right, and to the left a small counter where you're meant to buy your tickets. There was no food or drink to be seen, and at the far end of the room was a few doors with numbers above them - obviously being the screen numbers. So at this point, we were both pretty unimpressed by what we saw. However, both wanting to see a movie after our morning swim, we looked up at the two plasma screens above the counter to find out what time our movie was being shown. Guess what? They weren't on! We saw a few other groups of people looking through a booklet with ODEON plastered on the front, so I walked...
