I live in Edinburgh and am interested in a lot of music and recently started a band. I am also really into movies and would like to direct some day.

For a movie nowadays, large multi screen cinemas are a common place choice for any cinema goers. They all have about eleven top quality, massive screens, restaurants, shops and large food areas, costing yourself a small paycheck. What you pay in there for one visit, is probably more than the employee will receive that week in his pay.
Now, the odeon is a fabourite cinema for many and still incorporates less costs than most for ticket sales and for your viewing snacks. On a recent visit, though I don't go much, I found they were going with the crowd and had had itself refurbished. The prices had rised a little bit but not yet reaching higher prices of, for example, the two ABC cinemas, also in the city.
It only had about six screens but had all of the latest titles. After getting tickets and snacks, me and my friends were directed up a few flights of stairs after being greeted by a few, friendly employees. At the top we entered the screen. This was a surprisingly top quality, gigantic room that seved beeter purpose than any of the more commercial cinemas could.
I hope this great viewing experince is not part of the downfall of coming complete commercialisation and stays its small, but fantastic, self.

Just a word of warning, I liked the Odeon cinema in Norwich but after Ster Century and UCI cinemas popped up, the Odeon closed it's doors forever (as too did the Cannon, both in the same week). Use it or lose it - it's a sad fate.
