I am definitely a Benefit convert. Having tried quite a few of their products recently I have been won over and now like to treat myself to a few of their products now and again.
Benefit is an America cosmetics company founded in 1976 by twin sisters in San Francisco. The girls are called Jean and Jane. Their vision was to create makeup with a whimsical candy store type theme. Nowadays the brand has over 1,000 makeup counters in more than 25 countries.
What first attracted me to the Benefit counter was the brightness and girly prettiness of it all. There range looks so fun and quirky and exciting that I had to try it. I had also heard so much about it in the beauty press and magazines and from friends that I knew it had a great reputation already and so wanted to see what all the fuss ...

Advantages: Would last a very long time, with a bit of effort it can look quite natural Disadvantages: Far too dark, doesn't blend well, expensive, feels a bit cakey

I wouldn't say my skin was fair, but it's not the darkest, it's probably a very average medium colour. If I had to say whether I was fairer or darker, I would say my skin was slightly on the fairer side. With this in mind and the colour of the powder in the box still looking hell of a dark to me, I decided not to "sweep the brush across the powder a few times", but instead to give it one little sweep before applying only to my cheeks. Well what a mess!! I looked like my one year old had slapped me with a chocolate coated hand. I hadn't put a lot on so I decided to give it a little rub. Now with the Georgia powder, I often get a very defined line when applying and with a little rub it blends in nicely. Advantages: Right in the town, plenty of green space, variety of landscapes Disadvantages: Only falling conkers in autumn!
Although Maribor is a small town surrounded by lots of lovely countryside it still has a lovely large citypark ? Mestni Park - with tree lined paths, three large ponds, an indoor aquarium and a variety of statues and other things of note. You can stick to the concreted paths or you can get off the main paths and venture onto the sign-posted trails on the forest edge.
There are several entrances to the park; the easiest way to get to the park is to head north from Trg Svobode, past the giant wine barrel outside Vinag and keep walking north, crossing the roads until you get to the park. The first of the three fishponds is at the entrance of the park; this is the smallest and it has an excellent little viewing platform which enables you to get a better look at the life in the water than you do at the other ponds.
