rambling farm buildings and courtyard that have been sympathetically developed over the past 20 years into a fabulous 19 bedroom hotel. All the bedrooms are en-suite and many have antique half-tester or 4 poster beds, all with the latest comfy modern mattresses. There are four lovely suites in the courtyard. The decor is simple Old English with many antiques I have collected over the years. The walls are hung with old prints or original pictures which are evocative of times gone by. It is my vision of what a hotel should be. What a hotel used to be.Colin Scott, our chef, produces a fine three course Table d'hote dinner in the evenings. He has also created an interesting room service menu which is very popular. We offer traditional English dishes, as specials, during the week, much to the delight of our corporate guests. The style of food we offer is simple rustic fare using local and seasonal ingredients which you enjoy in the old milking parlour with its massive carved stone fireplace.
Advantages: Great location, friendly owners, good price, great breakfast, clean rooms Disadvantages: I wish i could spend more time there!
...The Great Barn Maplecroft B&B is situated in Bradford on Avon in Wiltshire only about 7 miles away from Bath.
The family run business is based around a 13th Century Stone Barn, which the owners live in, having restored it from an old deralict shell about 12 years ago.
The B&B itself is an annex off the house and contains 3 rooms, two double and one large family room (2 single beds and a double) all rooms are en-suite and provide coffee and tea making facilities and a TV. The rooms are decorated to an excellent standard and are kept exceptionally clean. Breakfast is served either in the beautiful conservatory (in the summer) or in the dining room (in the winter). You are offered more than enough food to fill yourselves up for the day. Cerals, toast, fruit, then comes the cooked breakfast, certainly one of the tastest i've ever had.

Advantages: Great amusement Disadvantages: A long way to travel
...The Gallagher Leisure Complec contains a cinema and a gym and a hotel has been built around 100 meters away from it. The cinema was built on the site near Thornubry because the old Odeon cinema in the centre of Bradford had become run down and disussed.
It was a great idea to build the Gallagher Leisure Park but it is in the wrong place. It is out of the city centre and not many people go their. To get to the park you either need to have a car, bike or you need to take the orange line bus from the centre of town to the leisure park.
The prices at the cinema are resasonable and they are affordable my most if not all people, there are many large, suround sound cinema screens on which many old and new films can be viewed.. The gym that it at the side of the cinema is also great event though it is expenisve it is worth the price....
