The Palacio de Marques is the oldest building on the Island. It was once home to the islands government but now serves as a Tapas bar. There was once a tunnel leading from the Palacio de Marques to the Castillo Santa Barbara in case of attack.
Teguise was once plagued by invaders from Algeria, there is a street named La Sangre meaning 'Blood' after the many who died there. The village is now plagued and invaded by hordes of tourists searching for the cheap bargains every Sunday at Market.

The old cobbled streets of Teguise and historical square makes a perfect venue for a bustling market. It can get a little colder in Teguise due to the altitude and it is advised to take a cardigan just in case - even if it does look nice from your hotel window.

...Piazza navona is one of the most beautiful squares in Rome. During th Christmas holidays it gets decked out and decorated with lights and its outlines are surrounded by stalls selling Christmas goods. It is lovely to go there and choose a variety of hand-crafted pieces for the Crib, or Christmas Tree decorations. On the morning of 6th January (the feast of the Epiphany) legend says that an old lady, dressed in rags and flying a broom, called La Befana, brings sweets and candies to children who were good during the past year, and coal to children who behaved mischievously. Children leave their sock out to be filled with goodies on the eve of January 6th. In Piazza Navona Christmas Market it is possible to buy lumps of 'charcoal' made of sugar to put in the children's sock to hide all the sweets and goodies below. I hope you will visit...

Myself and partner stayed at this hotel during a visit in febuary 06, the hotel is very easy to find upon arrival and we were checked in quickly by hotel staff and shown to our room. The room whilst very basic was clean and tidy, suitable to our needs.... more

I bought this book in 2003 for a Foundation course in Business. I only studied one unit in Marketing but had to write a marketing report for a company of my choice and this book was priceless.
This book in my opinion is aimed at Foundation and Degree more
