Very trendy and sexy

Advantages: Perfect for fun
Disadvantages: None

Olinda is a magic city. Situated in the North-East of Brazil, this still medium-size village is full of remains of its glorious colonial past. The best time to go there is during Carnival. It is virtually impossible to find accommodation during this period unless you book months in advance or know someone of the locals. When I went there, I was lucky enough to stay with some friends, if you are not in the same situation, Recife is not too far away, ...
...to find accommodation there. The Carnival is crazy. 5 days of revellery, and, differently from other cities in Brazil, there are not too many people from the favelas around and you feel really safe, plus a lot of local babes scantly dressed and in the mood for good fun, not like here in London!! Everyone is friendly and just want to enjoy life, if you se what I mean. You should also try “lancaperfume”, it tastes good.

...ANY PROBLEM TO ENJOY A NIGHT OUT EVEN IF YOU ARE TRAVELLING ALONE.THAT'S WHAT YOU'LL FIND OF MORE DIFFERENCE FROM BIG CITIES SUCH AS SAO PAULO.SO MY ADVICE IS TO STOP THINKING ABOUT BRAZIL AS SAO PAULO,RIO DE JANEIRO AND CARNIVAL ONLY,BRAZIL IS A HUGE COUNTRY LET'S START TO EXPLOR ITFROM NORTH TO SOUTH,FROM EAST TO WEST. Review of Recife

Good night life

Advantages: Good night life and music
Disadvantages: Too big

Recife is a very large city and it also has a lot of old monuments to be visitied, but even better is the close Olinda. There are nice beaches in town in Recife and it can be very hot since it is in the North-East of Brazil. A nice place to stay, not too expensive, around $30 for a double, is the Hotel Central in Rua Manuel Borba 209. This is a colonial building. There are a lot of local bands of music in Recife, and some of them became famous in all Brazil, for example Nacao Zumbi, where Chico Science used to play before dying in a car accident. You should go to the Gracas district for some good nightlife, good music and cheap bars. ...

Review of Recife

Home is where the heart is

Advantages: cosmopolitan; great dining, arts and sports scene; prettiest city in Oz
Disadvantages: not very many at all - perhaps some unsafe areas at night, but only if you're alone

35km out of the city in an easterly direction, and is well-known for its scenery and quaint villages such as Sassafras and Olinda. Other major waterways include Merri Merri Creek and the Maribyrnong river, which are tributaries of the Yarra and wend their way through different areas of the northern suburbs. Organ Pipes National Park is only about 20km or so northwest of the city and is an interesting introduction to the volcanic origins of the western plains, which are less fertile than the eastern part of Melbourne and beyond. Other attractions include the long line of beaches which wend their way down the Port Phillip Bay, which is a massive bay about 50km across and 70km from the opening at The Rip up to Melbourne. The more popular beaches are at the bottom of the Mornington Peninsula at places like Sorrento, Rosebud and Rye, as ...
