HOTEL - the hotel was refurbished this year to a very high standard. it is a very attractive hotel, and is maintained to a high standard. i think it has about 250 rooms.
LOCATION - the orange is located in the centre of the levante area of benidorm, directly on the square (an abundance of bars/clubs), but don't let this put you off as once the balcony doors are shut you don't hear anything.
STAFF- all staff are pleasant and helpful, and all speak english, nothing is to much trouble for them. the holiday rep however is rarely present at this hotel. at night they have a security man in the foyer area (who is not to be messed with!
ROOM - the rooms are an adequate size with plenty of sorage space. bathrooms contain basin area, wc, and bath with shower. balcony is of a high standard, with very secure railing. rooms are tidied daily (if you so wish) and linen is changed a couple of times a week. there is also air-conditioning in the rooms and a television (english news channels and eurosport).
FOOD - what can i say, it is out of this world. there is everything that you could imagine, with variation day by day. they do a themed buffet in the evening (different every night). pleanty of choice for the kids aswell...chips, pies, pizza etc. my youngest loved the ice cream machine, just like mr. whippy! you can also request a packed lunch for the following day, so you don't feel like you are tied to the hotel.
POOL - the pool area has plenty of sunbeds, pool table, table tennis, childrens play area and a bar. there is a shallow splash pool for little people and the main pool (which is of good size) starts very shallow and goes deep, however there are clear markings in the pool so you can see where it deepens. my only problem with the pool area was that they did not have any music on during the day!
ENTERTAINMENT - no entertainment is provided in the day. at night they have different acts on each night at the poolside, with a resident dj, and some nights they have karaoke. if you are fortunate to have a room with a pool view, you can watch the entertainment from the comfort of your balcony. joined on to the hotel is a nice family bar called the sanctuary, which also has entertainment in the evenings, but is shut during the day.
OVERALL- we had an excellant holiday, and would deffinately return to this hotel. please note though, there are as many spanish people holiday at this hotel as there are english.
