Advantages: Different type of petrol fuelled adrenaline hit (for non Americans at least)
Disadvantages: Expensive, Speed is restricted, Video not that great, Not enough laps, Not fast enough!!

It's Wet and it's wild!

Advantages: Good Fun, great day out
Disadvantages: None

Wet and Wild is a water park in the Universal district of Orlando, it’s one that can be paid for at the gate or it comes as part and parcel of the Orlando Flexticket. The slides are split into 5 different types, although they aren’t located in batches, they’re spread around the park. Super Thrills This section includes; The Storm, Bomb Bay, Der Stuka and Mach 5. ...three slides that all start in the same place, so we could all go down together, although getting onto the mat and launching yourself off is easier said than done, and is certainly not an elegant procedure. I found it uncomfortable because I had to hold myself to one side to avoid getting a friction burn on my leg, because I hadn’t quite managed to get on the mat in the centre. Ki ora!!!

Advantages: Fun, clean, animals in the park, sandy beach area
Disadvantages: Rides aren't maybe as fast as rides at other water parks

Advantages: Savings on eating out
Disadvantages: None really - it's good value

We used the Kids Eat Free Card on our trip to Orlando in December - if you have kids it's one of the best deals going. With it you really can potentially feed your kids for a tenner for 2 weeks! In the past we have made our usual detour to the hotel guest services desk to pick up a voucher book with a plethora of coupons to wade through and choose from. Review of Kids Eat Free Card

make the most of the jet lag

Advantages: Good use of dead time when you wake early with jetlag
Disadvantages: Not for those with vertigo

...to take an early morning balloon ride. So that's what we did this time around. You rendezvous at a local hotel (Best Western Lakeside) just a few minutes or so from Disney's World Drive at around 5.45 in the morning, collected with a group of other passengers, and taken to a local launch site to help inflate the balloons (there must have been 5 or 6 balloons taking off that morning). We then enjoyed a 1 hour pleasure trip one or two thousand feet ...
...again one day. Orlando Balloon Rides treated us to a champagne toast at the end of the flight and then back to the pick-up hotel for a buffet breakfast. By 9.30am we were back in the car, and still had a full day left to enjoy the theme parks! A great start to our holiday. ...
