Massive Hotel - Not lots of kids Advantages: Location, location, location Disadvantages: Not really a family hotel ...salads etc. =Atmosphere= The Rosen Centre is also a massive conference centre so when we went to the bar one evening we felt a bit like we were in the middle of a massive 'works function' which was a little odd! =Pool Area= The pool was nice & clean with a pool bar that sold excellent cocktails - if you do travel in the rainy/stormy season they do close the pool if it rains so we really didn't make that much use of it. =Other Facilities= * ... Good Rooms/Facilities, Bad Food Advantages: Good rooms, Clean with Decent facilitys Disadvantages: Really bad food I Stayed at the Staybridge Suites, Lake Buena Vista Hotel in 2009 and I had mixed views. The rooms are great, I stayed in a room that had 2 adults and 1 child, and the room was set up in a very good way, The living room and kitchen where in the main room when you walk in, The sofa converts easilly into a double bed which is perfect if you have a child or two. There is also a TV next to this bed which will keep the kids entertained and there is a ... ...room. The Kitchen features a large fridge-freezer, cooker,toaster,coffee/tea maker, sink, stove and large work surface, making creating meals very easy. There is then a set of doors which lead to the bedroom which features a double bed and also another TV meaning you don't have to watch the same as the children. Relax at the Sheraton in the Midst of the Disney Madness Advantages: Huge apartments, great pool and perfect location. Disadvantages: Not cheap! We have been lucky enough to visit Orlando several times and by far and away the best place we have found to stay is Sheraton Vistana Villages. Location This hotel is situated on the Southern end of International Drive. It is a set south of the attractions and restaurants which make International drive very busy so it is much quieter than many hotels. I-drive is easily accesible in about 5-8 minutes by car, there is also a stop for the I-drive ... ...dive away, Universal studios area is about 20 minutes north and Disneyland entrance is less than 10 minutes south. The roads are easy and there are no tolls. There is a Publix supermarket about 3 mins drive away. The journey from the International airport takes about 25 minutes and the property is easy to find. Unfortunately that’s not entirely the case. Location The villa is located in Davenport, Florida, approximately 5-10 minutes off the I4, which makes it about 20 minutes from the start of the Disney resorts and 20 minutes from Universal and SeaWorld.
