Advantages: Location, happy hour, well equipped suites
Disadvantages: Pool enclosure

Have been to the Homewood Suites 7 or 8 times. The suite consists of a lounge/kitchen area, bathroom and a bedroom (there are some two bedroom suites). Suites are very well equipped - 2 TVs, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, safe, ice maker. The wardrobe space is on the small side, but drawers are adequate. A buffet is provided for breakfast with some hot food and a good choice of items. On four nights there is a 'happy hour' with free beer, wine ...
...The hotel is very well positioned, just off International Drive between The Mercado (now unfortunately closed) and Pointe Orlando. There are other restaurants in easy walking distance including Bahama Breeze, Tony Roma's and the Olive Garde. Disadvantages: Very expensive

If you want to spoil youself stay at this location.The hotel itself is fantastic as expected for an American hotel.The pool area is like a beach and shows films for children at certain times plus various other entertainment.They only have one restaurant which is situated downstairs.Breakfast was included which was varied and excellent every day ( you can get food by the pool), the food is good but expensive. I have just recently come back from a trip to Orlando and whilst there I stayed at two different hotels - one being this one, The Royal Pacific Resort. I was only there for 4 nights but I truly fell in love with this hotel and would if I could, come back again. Rooms: The rooms at the hotel are lovely - really bright and airy. Advantages: Being able to wake up to giraffes outside your room!
Disadvantages: Not cheap - you know this when you book though!

I have just recently come back from a stay in Orlando and one of the hotels I stayed at whilst there was this one so I thought I would share my views on it. Having gone to orlando with my wife in 2000 for the celebrations, we decided to return in 2004 with our daughter so she could experience the magic aswell. We went with virgin and the cost was about £3200 for 14 nights and free car hire but we chose not to as it has a great bus service which picks up from each village and will take you to all disney parks. ...six villages Jamaica,Trinidad (south , north) Barbados,Martinique and aruba all set around a huge lake. So if you dont like walking you may want to choose another hotel.
