To me and the rest of my family, OrlandoFlorida is the best place to have a holiday ever! There is something to do for everyone! Whether its putting Nan and Granddad on the beach all day whilst you charge around the theme parks, or putting the children in a theme park all day whilst you go and shop. There will be something to suit you in Orlando Florida.
With over 4 theme parks and two water parks in the Walt Disney Complex alone, there is no chance of you or your family getting bored!
*Walt Disney Complex*
The Walt Disney Complex consists of 4 major theme parks:
Also for you very keen shoppers, there is Downtown Disney. Here you can eat, shop, be entertained all day long and there is no entrance charge either! Here you will be able to shop till you drop and trust me, this is one of th only places the kids WONT get bored whilst YOUR having fun. There is a life size Lego Playground and other places that the kids will be kept amused. So everyone including yourself will be able to enjoy the Holiday!
A few minutes walk from all of the shops and playgrounds is Disney Quest. This has got to be one of the best interactive themeparks in Florida! Why not built your own rollercoaster, then ride it or play intactive games. Again, everyone will be happy.
The Magic Kingdom is the home to real Disney. Here you can enjoy thrilling rides, very entertaining shows, and fun and laughter all day long. You can let the kids meet there idols of the television face to face, and enjoy this thrilling once in a life tim experience. Magic Kingdom is the home to the amazing Cinderella castle. This was one of the longest projects to complete in the Magic Kingdom with its amazing structure and imaginative charactistics. But, the one of the most famous rides at the Magic Kingdom has got to be " It's a Small World ". This was the first ride to be built here and is still worth visiting today. After running around the theme park all day, you can relax at night with some real magic. The spectromagic parade. This is a must see and me and the rest of my family really enjoyed it. It was a magical finish to a magical day!!!!!
*MGM Studio's* Here is where some of the big boys rides are, with Tower of Terror, and Rockin Rollercoaster, this is a thrilling day out for everyone. But, there is still thing to do for the rest of the family.
*Epcot* Epcot is the Theme Park of the future with new experiences and fast rollercoasters you and your family will enjoy this one. Epcot is well known for its new technology and is a must when visiting Walt Disney Worldresort.
*Animal Kingdom* Animal Kingdom is a great asset to to Disney complex. It lets you experience the different kinds of animals in the different continents but also make sure you have 100% fun all day long. There are shows, rides, and talks on different animals all day long. Also, a thing which the kids will enjoy is, A Bugs life 3D. This is a great experience but not nly for the kids.
*Blizzard Beach & Typhoon Lagoon* These are two seperate themeparks in the Disney Complex. Here you can chill out and relax on the boiling hot summer days that Florida in known for. There are wave machines, 120ft slides, and lots and lots of water. Top Class!!
Around and about the Disney Complex, if you decide to visit all of the theme parks, your best bet is to buy a hopper pass. This works alot cheaper instead of buying singles. You could save alot of valuable SHOPPING money if you were to do it this way!!
All so when you are in the themeparks, and the ques get up to 2 hours waiting time, you best bet is to get fastpass for that ride to save you lots of time. All you do is pop your entry ticket into the machine and it gives you a time to come back when you can just jump on straight away, and wont have que!
*Accomodation* If you decide to stay in one of the Disney Hotels, the they will put on free transport to all of the themeparks. Also when you stay in a Disney Hotel you can get into the parks a hour before the public does, and have your breakfast with Mickey and others.
When I went with the 11 others in my family, we choose to stay in a 6 bedroom villa. It had its own swimming pool, 5 bathrooms, games rooms a suited well my family. As the age gap from the youngest to the oldest was so big (4-64) it suited us well. I would recommend this to any one with this size party to do this.
*Transport* Depending on what you want to do whilst your in Orlando would depend upon to type of transport you would consider. If you would just want to go to the disney theme parks and was staying in a Disney Hotel, then dont rent a car because there is free transport from your hotelto the theme park. But if you wanted to explore orlando in depth, then hire a car. Petrol is cheap and you are sent out on a full tank anyway so dont worry about this.
*International Drive* Whislt you are in Orlando you will come across I-drive. On I-Drive is numerous amount of Restaurants, Shops, and outlets, which you will definaltely enjoy.
*Other top places to visit* Seaworld Busch Gardens ( Tampa, 1 Hour 30 Mins from orlando) Beltz shopping outlet. Island of Adventures Universal Studios
*Planning* There are so many places on the web which will help you plan your holiday, enable ou to buy tickets and save even more money. Most of the leading Airlines now fly to Orlando as it is a top desination.
I've been to orlando now in February and December. At both of these times the temperature is perfect and theres never no rain. At chritmas when i went, i think it was the best time to go. I was just magical and i really recommend it.
So Enjoy and if you have any more questions or want to know any more information, just email me.
