MINT IMPERIAL!
Advantages: Friendly cosy and excellent location. Disadvantages: Building work and only one small lift.
...Imperial is part of the Best Western chain ~ a large hotel group that has hotels all over the world.
~~~WHERE IS THE IMPERIAL HOTEL?
The hotel can be found at 76 Van Iseghenlaan in the centre of Ostend. It is around ten to fifteen minutes walk from the Train and Tram stations and is in an excellent location. It is within sight of the seafront, beach and the main Albert Promenade and is also just opposite the Casino. We picked the hotel primarily ... ...I checked on the Best Western website and the price of one night's B&B varied depending on the standard of room and which options you choose ~ there is a corporate rate for example. Standard charges seem to rest at 100 EUR per room per night (80 for a single) and there is a choice of twin, double or single rooms (an option for a pull out bed the make a triple room was offered too). I have included the hotel web address at the end so you can have ...
hotel europe
Advantages: the hotel is very near to the promenade and shops Disadvantages: the meals are very basic
when we stayed there,we arrived at approx. 9-30pm and we were told there was a meal waiting for us and to go to the dining room straight away. we sat down and the meal was served, we were astonished to find that it was a vol-au.vent with a mushroom sauce poured over it.
the rooms are very nice and tastefully decorated, and the beds are very comfortable and plenty of wardrobe space.
it is about 5-10 minutes walk to the main shopping centre and 5 ...
Some ADMIRAL-able Qualities!
Advantages: Friendly, clean and well situated. Disadvantages: A bit dated and wasn't really for us.
...from my review on the Hotel Eden in Ghent, I thought I would write about the hotel we stayed in on our previous visit to Belgium. On this occasion we stayed in the Hotel Admiral in Ostende ~ quite a different hotel to the Eden in many ways…but, was it better or worse? Read on…..
~~~WHERE IS THE ADMIRAL HOTEL?
Ostende can be found in the West Flanders region of Belgium, not far from Bruges, and is a bustling little seaside resort. It is a popular ... ...The Admiral Hotel is located on Langestraat; a busy area of Ostende. It has a number of bars, shops and other hotels nearby and is only 100 metres from the main promenade (Albert Promenade) and sea front. Its major selling point for was that it is just around the corner from the Ostende Beerhouse ('t Ostens Bierhuus) and the Little Bottle Bar (Café Botteltje)! It is about a twenty minute walk from the train and tram stations ~ very convenient and ...

Belgium Beer Festival
Advantages: Excellent Location, Friendly Staff, Fabulous Food Disadvantages: Noisy During the Day
This hotel was allocated as part of a coach tour to the Belgium Beer Festival. Three girls and I am very particular about cleanliness but we found the hotel to be great, in the heart of the City, easily located for shopping, markets, bars and clubs. Our room was basic, but extremely clean and good size. We had a brilliant view of the market square, which had a funfair on for the octoberfest, this closed about 10.30 at night and was noisy until then. ... ...no safety guards on them and sheer drops to the market below when open. Other than that, brilliant hotel. We were looked after really well by the staff and the breakfast was self service, with a selection of yummy fresh breads and croissants, jams, meats, cheeses, cold boiled eggs in shells?, yogurts, fruit and tea, coffee or fruit juice. Would definately recommend if you are looking for an adult break away. We'll be back there next October. The ...

Excellent hotel centrally located in a quiet area
Advantages: Classy, stylish, clean Disadvantages: None l can think of
...to begin .... ! De Hofkamers in Ostend is situated in a quiet side street, a few steps from the Leopold Park. With the beach a few minutes walk away in one direction, and the main shopping centre the same distance the other, the location is perfect for every need.
The staff are friendly, welcoming and polite, nothing is too much trouble. There is a private garage for guests, a seminar room, sun terrace, solarium, and fitness facilities.
The 25 ... ...!
This is where De Hofkamers rises above all other 3 star hotels in Ostend. The breakfast room is cosy but light, the table linen, crockery and utensils spotlessly clean. ln the centre of the room is a large table, groaning under the wieght of a hot and cold banquet breakfast buffet which will include fresh speciality breads of many kinds, bread rolls, croissants etc., meats, cheeses, cereals, fruits, yoghourts, jams, honey, bacon, toast, and eggs.
