wildlife parks of Kenya

Advantages: beautiful scenes, waterfalls, black rhino
Disadvantages: a little difficult to get to

Aberdare National Park was made in 1950 to protect the forests of the Aberdare Mountains. It is a remote park, as it's hardly ever visited by travellers or safari companies. You must book in advance as you cannot take your own vehicles. The Park is located in the Central Highlands, west of Mount Kenya. You're able to see beautiful landscapes from high mountain peaks to valleys shaped like a V and bamboo forests. Accommodation There are 2 main types of accommodation. *Treetops* Treetops, tree house lodge, are one of Kenya's most famous hotels. This was where Princess Elizabeth was told that she had become Queen. So, as you can probably imagine, the prices at the hotel are quite expensive. *The Arks* The second hotel is The Arks, which is more reasonably priced. These are built in the shape of Noah's Ark. Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, London It's More Than A Hotel!

Advantages: Pleasant Staff, Good Customer Service, Nice Breakfast
Disadvantages: Expensive

also room for the guest staying for a short break. The food was delicious and the breakfast was plentiful with a range of choice for the continental breakfast. The food was fresh and tasty. It was served at the correct temperature and filled me up for the whole morning. You could eat as much or as little as you wanted and nobody would give you any hassle or rush you. The juice was fresh and tasty and it wasn't out of a carton. There was so much choice and everyone seemed to be enjoying the breakfasts. Victoria Park Plaza is centrally located just 2 minutes from Victoria Underground, Gatwick Express and National Rail station, with direct services to central London, Gatwick Airport and the South of England. The hotel is within walking distance of some of London's main attractions including Buckingham Palace, Harrods in Knightsbridge ...

Review of Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, London

A truly magical experience!

Advantages: You get to see the Kenyan wildlfe up close and personal, a magical place to stay
Disadvantages: The rooms are tiny and you have to share a shower and toilet with 10 other guests

This hotel really is out of this world. I was quite surprised that I loved it so much as I like my luxuries. It's like in another world. It's hard to explain but I'll try! Treetops is famous for one of it's former guests. The story goes that Queen Elizabeth II stayed there in the 1950s. she went to sleep a princess and awoke as a Queen. This was when she found out the sad news that her father had passed away. We stayed at Treetops on the 4rd day of our Kenyan safari. Anybody staying there will start off at the Outspan Country Hotel, where you will be picked up by a typical Kenyan bus. As the road to Treetops is so narrow and steep, only the bus is allowed up there, no other vehicles. After a 10 minute rickety bus ride you get off in the middle of nowhere and, escorted by armed guides, you walk the last 100 yards to Treetops ...
