PGL adventure of the life

Advantages: good facilities , improving children self esteemand confidence
Disadvantages: pricey

pgl is the best adventure holiday i ever experienced it offers a unique combination of adventure, freedom, fun and friends for the children. in it's 50th year you can imagine that over 3 million of children of all ages enjoyed pgl experience. it has so many great locations in the uk and abroad but as for my experience i'm going to talk about hillcrest, Ross on Wye, a beautiful resort which you can find all sort of fun. At the arrival you meet a very friendly staff who show the children to their dormitories by their pgl group leader who also explain the daily routine which is full of activities such abseiling, archery, challenge course, climbing wall, dragon boating, fencing, low ropes course, raft building, rifle shooting, trapeze and zip wire and a lot more.. I loved pgl and also my family but the only negative thing is the price ...

PGL adventure holidays

Advantages: Brilliant for parents who want a break.
Disadvantages: Can sometimes be limited.

I went on a PGL holiday in the summer. PGL is great for children who haven't got much to do over the summer. You can go on your own or with a friend it doesn't really matter, because if you do go on your own you will soon make friends. PGL holiday keeps you active and theres no way you will get bored. It is just as fun for a older teenager as it is for a 10 or 11 year old. Weather you stay in a big building with about 8 people or weather you stay in small chalets it will be just as exiting. the food is usually really nice and there are lots of options to choose from. For older teenagers they are in separate groups and will be treated with more freedom. The staff there are also kind and will look after you if you've got a problem. There are many types of PGL adventure holidays to go on, some specialize in one or two activities ...

PGL - Parents Get Lost

Advantages: Opportunity to go wild in the woods in safety!
Disadvantages: Some children got homesick

I have just returned from a PGL Schools Adventure Holiday. No, I did not lie about my age; I went in lieu of a teacher at my wife?s school who decided that she was somewhat ?too pregnant? to carry it through. Not being pregnant myself, having some experience dealing with kids in an outdoor activity role, and having no work last week clinched it; I was ?volunteered? in a manner of speaking. Actually, I was blackmailed; you know the kind of thing ?You?re our last hope. If you don?t go, the kids can?t go, and they?ll all have to be given their money back yada yada yada? SO WHO OR WHAT IS PGL? PGL is an organisation affectionately known as ?Piggle? to those that have heard of them. The initials are those of its founder, Peter Gordon Lawrence (I think). It is a sort of cross between an mildly ?Outward Bound? course ...
