I know sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, but why am I in this well !!! I'm a Ferrari now because I'm red, AND that cheekychicken keeps on at me about cars.

Having been with Ciao for a while I thought I'd update this op and tell you about my girlfriend....we get on so well... The other night I got home and after a while told her to take my shoes and socks off, which she did..and then I told her to take my shirt and tie off ..which again she did. I then asked her to take my trousers off...which again she did..now comes the interesting bit...I asked her to take my underwear off...which she did with pleasure, and then I said "And don't ever wear them again!". After this epic event I got a bottle of wine for her...I asked the guy for two bottles but he wouldn't pay it to me (think about it!!)
I travel to France about once every three weeks for pleasure, and would always use the ferry from Dover to Calais rather than the tunnel because the crossing is relatively short, enjoyable and cheap. I am going to try the routes from Portsmouth and Poole shortly and will probably do further ops on the subject.
Many newspapers currently have offers to travel for £1 as a footpassenger or in the region of £22 for a car and five passengers. Also , the departures are either every 30 minutes or an hour depending on the time of day, and journey times reliable at about 80 minutes . Furthermore, Dover is very accessible to both the M2 and M20 motorways, and in Calais on leaving the dock area one immediately joins excellent roads from where the journey times to a lot of Europe is not excessive.
All of the ferries I have ever used have been quite new, spacious and clean and have excellent facilities including several choices of restaurants and bars. The shops on board are very large also, the size of these ships has to be seen to be believed really, about 8 floors tall !!
My main pleasure on the ferry is being able to buy duty paid cigarettes and other items at massive savings compared to the UK, for example 800 Superkings cost generally £20 on the ferry compared to £40 here, so half price !! I have never had any delays in all my years of travelling with P & O, AND if I have ever been late to arrive, which is quite frequent , they always get me onto the next ferry with an absolute minimum of delay.
A tip to persons not travelling as frequently as myself, always buy a copy of the Kent Messenger before embarkation, there are always many special offers in Calais or for the journey itself in this paper - this week I received two free bottles of wine and a free case of Stella Artois.
Smoking and drinking, I cannot afford to not go to France on a regular basis , plus I always get an excellent three course meal for two including drinks for £36 approx. when I am there ,following a very good day's shopping and sight seeing.
Further updates to this op will be coming shortly as well, so watch this space!!
