I have used P&O ferries quite a few times and each time it has been a pleasure. My most recent trip with them was at the end of February when I went skiing.
Right from the word go you can tell it is going to be a pleasant trip. When you drive on to the ferry there are people there who tell you where to go. When you climb up the steps and you see inside the ferry you think wow. It is nicely decorated, it is clean and it is appealing. There are a lot of facilities on board so you will have plenty to do during the crossing. There are signs all over the ferry to direct you to certain places e.g. toilets
The first place I went when I got on board was the ' International Food Court '. When I got in there I was very impressed. It was well set out, spacious and felt generally nice. The food was of a high quality, and was a great price. I bought a full meal a drink and a dessert for about £7 (and they were not small portions)
After I had finished there I went in search of a place sit and relax. I followed the signs to the bar. On the way I passed an arcade, toilets, currency exchange (they do generous rates), tax free shop and the executive area (where you can pay a small fee and sit in a nice lounge with a glass of champagne.
When I got to the bar I was very impressed, there were loads of seats and sofas and the drinks were a decent price to.
After I had sat down for a bit I went to look for the toilets. When I got to them (by following the signs again) I was amazed. I got in there and it was spacey, decorated nicely and very clean.
When I had been there it was announced over the loud speaker that we were nearly in France. So I went back over to the stairs. (There are different colour stair decks so you could easily remember which one was yours.
All in all I had a very enjoyable time on the ferry and I thougherly recommend it.
