we went first week of may, my wife is in a wheelchair so we informed ahead. At check in it is advisable to get queing to the departure gate early as people will just push past you. Once through we wqere put on to a minibus and driven onto to the car deck, upto check in area given our room keys, in the cabin we had a club, very nice spacious nice double bed also had a futon double bed, tv, kettle and complimentry tea, coffee, hot chocolate fruit basket. once under way we explored the bar areas were spacious and had a show every night. also for the bingo minded 3 games a day the pool was open as was a jacquzzi sauna and gym very good food was of a good standard, dear, but well presented. the passage was good, but from may to october you`d expect that At bilbao we were last to get off as they unloaded the cars first, the rest of our party went off down the steep stairs. through customs then a short ten minute walk to town , its hilly and all the shops are up hill, they dont open till ten so you have a hour to kill (docked 0700 uk time) plenty of cheap tobacco shops had a stop in a cafe at 10.00 friendly service back on board for 11.00 for 12.15 sailing passage back was good unfortunatly we didnt see any whales or dolphins om route. all in all a good trip, i advise anyone going for the first timer not to change your currency until you get to spain good exchange that end. currency on board is uk sterling, so if you pay in euro you get sterling back at a poor exchange rate
