HEN/STAG NIGHTS
Ah the Hen nights what a night, sorry stags cant really help you but I can for the hens, basically you go into these clubs, and dance like normal, but your forbidden to pull anyone, anywayz when the reps blow the whistle thats the sign for attack, you have to grab any male and strip him, and must retrive his pants, and give them to the rep, and thats what its all about, going round clubs, collecting momento's.
GO-KARTING
The name says it all really how else can you define Go Karting
HORROR HOUSE
Blimey this was quite scary actually everything is real, they use real people and real weapons, and the end scene is the chain saw masacre not that someone gets sliced to pieces but he chases you with it reving and it like run for it.
BEACH PARTY
Any excuse to get drunk, the beach party is the trip to do, with endless games, and drinking antics, to adult forefits, you ceratainly dont go home sober, and whats more on the way home they drop you off on your pub crawl.
FOAM PARTIES
This is the night club night, you all congress to BCM's and get off you face then at approx 3am all this foam starts pumping out right up untill 6am, its a really great evening, it truly is.What was particularly positive and/or negative about it?
Positive, well its a wonderful holiday and your sure to have a good time, even if you travel alone, as the operators try to find u a partner if u go on the rewquest for one, who likes similar stuff as you.
Negative, not really any, maybe early flight, if your unlucky but on the whole I had no negative thoughts
Who should buy this kind of product? Who should use this service?
Well obvoulsy this is aimed at the 18-30 range, but if your not in to late nights and the ritz and glitz then this just aint the holiday for you, but if you are someone whol loves to Party and have a cracking good time this is one holiday you wont forget.
Advantages: Save you money and great fun Disadvantages: .
...1) Choose a fly-drive package from the likes of Getaway USA , Jetsave , Funway etc. Ask in your local travel agent for a specialist fly-drive provider to America. They will inevitably try and fob you off with British Airways or Virgin since profit margins for them are much higher with the big boys. Stick with it.
2) Second alternative and one we've used on the last 3 or 4 trips is flight-only ticket via a bucket-shop. Always make sure ABTA , IATA ... ...you haven't taken a fly-drive package where it is already included. N.B. If you do a fly-drive , try and make sure they don't use Dollar for the Cars. Absolutely nothing wrong with the Company or Cars it is just that they won't allow you to have you own Car Insurance and I will come onto this later.
For Car Hire , you can easily trawl through the individual web-sites for Alamo , Hertz , Avis , National etc. But I would again suggest you revisit ...

Advantages: Saves you a fortune, no resort Rep pestering you Disadvantages: No Resort Rep to look after you
...pounds sterling on their platinum package ( no extra to pay in the USA) and also car parking at Manchester airport..all done on the web in about 30 mins and yes I reckon I have saved about £500 - 600 on the whole deal...
it is a little over a week since I booked the lot and I have everything I need for the holiday all the vouchers have arrived in the post all I am waiting for is my BA tickets which should be here soon..
If you are confident about ... ...can save a fortune...and have a great time doing it .....be brave and go for it !!!! So you may be bothered about no resport rep to look after you or sell you excursions....panick ye not !!! most Hotles in Florida have a guest relations desk......think of these guys as your Resort reps...they will sell you the same excursions, help you with information, and get you organised when you want organising..who needs a pushy Resort Rep???? ...

Advantages: a tad cheaper, someone else does all the work Disadvantages: very little flexability, it's just England somewhere else
...the urge to do a package tour until a few years ago. I always thought it was more fun to just turn up and get everything sorted yourself. I finally gave in, though, and let someone else arrange everything for me in advance, and hey, I saved a few pennies here and there. Well, package tours save you money by doing everything in volume. That means wherever you go, you'll end up in a big resort area chock full of English people and surrounded by pubs ... ...while rubbing elbows with half the people I'm trying to get away from. If you want to find out what England would be like if it traded places with Portugal, fine, go on a package holiday. If you want to experience the real foreign country, do it yourself. ...

Advantages: Quick, Easy, Can be a bargain, Disadvantages: May end up with a ruined holiday.
...that it is not a package deal holiday, and that it is booked seperately from the flights.
Also you may spot a great late package deal which suits your pocket. Please, please find a good holiday review site and look for any customer reviews for the particular hotel before you go ahead and commit. I have met many unhappy holidaymakers that did not take any time to have a look for customer reviews on their chosen holiday. Find one like the "holiday ... ...One persons ideal holiday may not be good for another, but you will get a rough idea on the quality of the hotel from the reviews left by others.
Also if you cannot find the resort you have chosen, ask someone on the review site and they will try to help you if they can. Do not jump at a bargain and then read the reviews. Make sure you are as informed as possible before you make a decision. Also ask about any hidden charges that may crop up once ...

Advantages: General-fun-time Disadvantages: At an high-cost.

I went with about 16/17 mates to Failiraki, we booked last year before that Reps program air'd. That was my first holiday without mum'n'dad. To save time, i'll just allow you to read a letter I wrote to them (this'll explain the situation) "When booking with 18-30, my expectations were not of luxury. They were of a semi-cheap holiday ... ...what I got. I did enjoy the €260 '14 day gig pass' Even though this was not received 'till the fourth night and I was not offered a discount !! However, there was one incident, or series of incidents that I find unacceptable and costly. During my stay, on several occasions, bottles were left outside my door (normally only 4/5 and sometimes 10/20). This was done by various people staying in the hotel, and I accepted it as a laugh. Advantages: Great value, clean, great helpful staff. Disadvantages: Rear facing rooms are small, food was adequate but not exciting.
amenities. No hairdryer or TV but fridges rentable at reception. The room was cleaned every day and staff were all friendly and helpful.
Food & Drink
We were Half Board so took advantage of the buffet restaurant. Hotel also has a lunchtime cafe bar which we never tried and a pool bar - closed when we visited.
The main restaurant generally had plenty of tables and format is the usual packageholiday hotel buffet. There was always plenty of food and waiters were very friendly, serving drinks to your table. Very occasionally the restaurant got very busy and a short wait was needed for a table - no great hardship. Generally the food was adequate but not as good as other Sol hotels in Costa del Sol or Canaries.
Entertainment
The hotel entertainment staff work hard. They have a few professional shows but keep the nightly format the same ...

I always Thomson Holidays for my packageholidays whenever I possibly can. This includes their direct booking offshoot Portland Direct.
They generally offer super holidays in good quality accommodation at reasonable prices. They are not the cheapest by quite some way but you always know with Thomson that the holiday will not be in some awful hole! I've tried other tour operators and the same is not true.
Therefore Thomson is the best in my opinion and, if you read all their advertising material, also in their opinion.
Then why don't they do something about 'cattle truck' flights? I accept entirely that Britannia (which is Thomsons Airline) are no worse than all the other charter airlines but why don't they make the Britannia service the best in the market?
The food is ok - standard airline food. The staff are pleasant ...

Unlike Going Places, Thomas Cook its high street rival does have a web site. Although late in coming onto the market and requiring a redesign after the first few months, it is now trying to establish its position in the marketplace.
The holidays available on the web site are generallypackage tours which you would probably find on the windows of your high street branch. There is a function for searching which can help you find the availability you want but I found the choice limited.
If you are looking for a cheap package, try Thomas Cook or if you are feeling more adventurous, you can try Airtours auction site lateescapes.com which seems to have introduced reserve prices now. If you are more of the long haul independent traveller I wouldn?t bother and I would go to somewhere like cheapflights.com to find the best deal for you. ...
