Advantages: Central location, clean Disadvantages: Food, rooms
We stayed at this hotel in London a little over a month ago now for two nights, we chose this hotel mainly because of the central location and because it was only a ten minuite walk from the show we had booked to go too.
Check in was very quick - About ten minuites and the staff at the reception seemed very friendly.
My first thoughts on the hotel was that it looked really clean and that it was nicely decorated and it looked modern.
I was a little dissapointed with our room as it was very small and basic, our room had a double bed, tea and coffee making facilities, a tv with satellite and a small, basic en suite bathroom with a shower.
The views from our room very very poor - A block of offices which made our room dark as they were so close.

Advantages: Comfortable, clean, good staff Disadvantages: A few faults, doesnt live up to expectations

All was sent in when a couple of weeks later, the girl calls me ...
Advantages: clean, food Disadvantages: railway station, lack of cooling systems,
DianoMarina a beautiful seaside resort in Northern Italy, which we have been lucky enough to recently visit. However, while the resort was delightful enough the hotel was far from luxurious.
The brochure tells you: A FAMILY RUN HOTEL IN THE FAMILY FOR FIFTY (+) YEARS:
The brochure means; a fifty-three bed roomed hotel with just a handful of staff, who are family related. Staff were not particularly friendly or did they go out of their way to help in anyway. For example I enquired where the nearest bank machine was to which I got ?I don?t know?. Eventually finding a small English run shop I enquired and was pointed in the direction of the cash machine (a two minute walk from the hotel). The hotel is fairly clean, and décor is acceptable though far from fashionable or ideal. The lift is tiny, and the bar usually unattended ...
