I would like also to apologise for my earlier review. I had no time and I also didn't quite believe it will be visible at once. I'm glad I was wrong ;-)

Advantages: good area Disadvantages: rude, unhelpful staff
...We were moved here from another hotel in the same area as they were overbooked. This is not 3 star hotel, rooms small with no tea/coffee facilities in room, not even a beaker in the bathroom or plug in sink. Tiles in bathroom cracked, perhaps newly decorated as the re was paint on the curtains. breakfast was minimal and although advertised as served til 10.30 on a Sunday the staff start to clear away toaster, cups cutlery etc at 10.15 and not accomodating if something is requested. Staff generally impolite and uninterested. security was poor there was a security lock on entry from street but never used, not sure if not working or too much effort for staff. The hotel was noisy most of the night, doors banging etc....

Advantages: Great Location Disadvantages: Needs redecoration
...It's just recently gone through an overhaul.. and as they are redecorating all the rooms floor by floor (and the place is huge!) it's going to take a while before all the rooms are update... therefore if you're going to book through a cheapie website for the room, you'll almost definitely be given one of the old rooms... The place is a huge hotel, and has all the basics i.e. room service, comfy beds etc.. and as along as you're just sleeping there ie. not spending all day in your room, then it's a great budget style hotel especially as it's got a great location! Right on the strand nr Charing Cross.. If you're willing to pay more for your room then you'll be given one of the new updated rooms... but in the hotel industry you do get what you pay for!!...

Advantages: Had hot water Disadvantages: Cost too much
...Not a three star hotel! This is not even a one star hotel. The room was tiny. The television only worked on one snowy chanel. The bathroom smelled of mold and the shower curtain was slimy. There was no plug for the drain so it was impossible to take a bath. There were no glasses, very few towels, and no extra pillows. The pillows smelled and were dirty and the extra blanket had large holes. There were bugs! I received many bites and developed sores that required medical attention. Breakfast was terrible. They couldn't even make a cup of tea. The staff were not helpful and they didn't seem to care. The carpet was threadbare and dirty (greasy). There was constant noise all night and the floors were very noisy when anyone walked on them. Outside the window there were many cigarette butts and other trash. DON"T STAY HERE IF YOU WANT...
