In my opinion the only thing going for this hotel was the location. We went for 10 nights Christmas 2008 I had booked the Corinthia Atlantic but changed a week before we were due to go. Worse mistake ever. Upon arrival the hotel was extreamly basic like expected well worse really- I know its The Gamia but all the other hotels seemed much better.
Our first room was filthy all the plug sockets were hanging from the wall and the place smelt really bad. I had paid for a superior room and was told this was superior. We eventually moved rooms to one where the paint was at least one colour on the walls but it was still filthy. Towels varied from pink to grey to stained to unusable. Breakfast was always no bread, no cups. Bumsters hand around too. If you want real Gambia its all quiet real - you dont need to stay in a dirty hotel. I ...

Cyprus was'nt my 1st choice for a hoiday this year, but Ruth my partners sister telephoned us in August 2004 to say she was getting married abroad in July 2005, and would we like to attend.
