Lansdowne Grove Hotel

Advantages: nice hotel, good restaurant
Disadvantages: ok room, loud wedding party

My other half and I stayed here last year for a weekend away. We booked it over the phone and stayed for 2 nights at £110 for a double room with dinner. However, having said that, the overall atmosphere at the hotel was friendly and easygoing, it was spotlessly clean, and after a day we never noticed any of it again. The staff was so extremely friendly and smiling and did everything possible to ...

Disadvantages: Distance to resort centre, lack of swimming opportunities in the sea

friends from the Palm Beach Hotel, and got to experience the proper Gambian way of life by being invited for tea with some of the hotel staff back in their houses. I would happily return to this hotel and this country and would be comfident of another great holiday. ...
