Advantages: Awesome album Disadvantages: Different to last album
When I opened the wrapper to Sugarcults 'PalmTrees And Power Lines' I was excited about what it may hold. Having been a fan of Sugarcult for the previous 2 years and seeing them in concert twice, I was looking forward to their new material. I put the CD in and the first track i heard blaring out of the speaker was their latest single 'She's The Blade'. Slightly bemused i skipped through the tracks trying to find one that was similar to the previous album that i loved so much. I found one. Track number 7 'Champagne' was the darling that brought me ''crashing down again' '(a Sugarcult fanatic should understand that). I thought that was it for Sugarcult as I didn't think their new material was that great. As I'm sure some of you will be aware, I was in Barcelona for a long weekend to celebrate my 21st birthday, well one of the most important things, after booking your flights is finding a place to stay. And as one of the guys we were going with is at Uni, we needed to find something reasonable but cheap for the 4 nights we would be staying there. Well that's where the Hostal Lami comes in.
