This hotel has a great location, right in the middle of Harburg. There is a restaurant and bar on the ground floor, also shoe cleaning services on each floor, but the main point I want to make is the location. This hotel is probably the best priced 4 star hotel you will find in the heart of Harburg.
I paid 61 Euros for one night for a room with two single beds in it. There is a fridge in the room with some items in it that are not that expensive. I was surprised that the prices for them was more or less the same as what they are at grocery stores nearby.

The Renaissance HamburgHotel is part of the worldwide Marriott chain and offers the excellent accommodations that you would expect from Marriott but with the flair that you would normally expect from the Renaissance team. As well as having stayed at the Renaissance Hotel in Hamburg several times, I have also stayed at the Renaissance sister hotel, the Marriott, located on ABC Strasse in the exclusive shopping and dining part of the city of Hamburg. The hotel is well located and transfer time from the airport (Hamburg) is under 20 minutes or so with taxi fares also being under 20Euros (£13-£15). Just outside o f the hotel you will find a glittering array of upmarket shops and small boutiques and the hotel is located in a very quiet area and all of the rooms are exceptionally quiet.
