The Pantheon is run by Manos and Janet, husband and wife and Babbis and Maria his brother and sister in law.
The hospitality was second to none.

I add that there are no taxi's in the resort, but Manos and Babas drive a 16 seater mini bus that take you down to the resort 6 times a day. 10-00am, 1-30pm, 6-00pm, 8-00pm, 10-00pm and last pick up drop off 10-30pm. We have holidayed in Greece for the past 16 years and visited many islands. This year it was Kos.
I saw Kefalos advertised for £250 each for 2 weeks, and as we wanted to do some island hopping at the same time thought that this was a good price.

The Pantheon is run by Manos and Janet, husband and wife and Babbis and Maria his brother and sister in law. The hospitality was second to none. As the Pantheon is on a hill, with views to the front of Nisyros and from the back Kalymnos, it is a little steep to walk, but you can manage if you take your time. I add that there are no taxi's in the resort, but Manos and Babas drive a 16 seater mini bus that take you down to the resort 6 times a day. 10-00am, 1-30pm, 6-00pm, 8-00pm, 10-00pm and last pick up drop off 10-30pm. This is free of charge to guests. Being Greece sometimes there are more on the bus than 16 but what the heck, Manos just takes the little longer route to avoid the steep hill. The hotel is used by both Kosmar and Thomas Cook. The linen is changed 4 times a week and the towels most days. Sunday night and Thursday night they have a b.b.q. and it costs all of 7 euros. This is served from 7-00pm till 9-30pm. Janet makes the desserts of chocolate or lemon cheesecake, (no calories in either, I lie.) just 3 bars of milk chocolate in the chocolate one……..You also have baklava or apple pie. Plus the obligatory on the house drink of tea, coffee or metaxa. Every other Sunday the Kosmar rep comes and runs a quiz after the b.b.q. and this was one heck of a night, an ice breaker and a good night for all. We managed to get to bed at 1-30am, and everyone enjoyed it. Every other night Manos and Babbis have a special which again is a few euros. All comes highly recommended. Janet has a wealth of knowledge about getting about as she came to the island as a rep and married Manos and has been there for 16 years, in Kos. If you want to go over to Kalymnos she has the ferry timetable from Mastihari, a 20 min bus ride away rather than the trip 1hour to Kos town. The cost of the ferry is 3-40euro each way, and takes 45 mins. You are at the top of the hill away from the hustle and bustle of the resort but so peaceful, restful and relaxing. Talking to guests around the pool and on the veranda, some have been back for 11 years and two or three times a year, May, July and September of this year. Others meet up with friend from England that they have made over the visits and book the same time year after year. Janet greets all her guests with the utmost respect and has a great manner herself, as do the rest of the family. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them. We booked a late check out as we flew back at some unearthly time in the morning, but the bar was open until the last bus had picked up and that was Glasgow at 5-00am. We had also booked a pack up from Janet to take to the airport which she left in the fridge until we were ready to go. We would recommend this to anyone that is looking for peace, rest and relaxation, good company and wanting to do the Greek thing but not too much loutish behaviour.
Advantages: Fantastic Views, Comfortable Accommodation, Friendly Atmosphere, Very Relaxing Holiday. Disadvantages: if you have mobility problems walking to village would be difficult
Weve just arrived back for Pantheon Apartments, in Kefalos Kos. We booked a two week holiday thru Kosmar. The flight arrived at Kos airport at 2:35 in the morning of Sunday, the transfer time is only 20mins maximum. It was dark and a little windy as we made our way into our room. It felt small but we fell into bed and slept well. Blimey! on waking up the view from the balcony is breathtaking. The restuarant at the hotel is very very good, with a ... ...village and the nearest shop is pleasant going down but torture coming back, thank heavens for the little green bus... A free bus supplied by the hotel at certain times of the day. Visit the village of Kefalos, very pretty, take a trip to Kos town on the bus thats an experience in itself.. find the old town full of little bazaars and shops. The beach town of Kardamena is full of tavernas and niteclubs etc much more lively than Kefalos. The Hotel ...
