Advantages: Has everything Disadvantages: Easy to miss some of the best shops.
...Do they have a map or can you rent a GPS Navigation system for this place – I thought. The place is huge. Really has anything and everything. I must have spent around 4 hours wondering around, eating and drinking. Mainly just window-shopping and dreaming of winning the lottery. The things you could buy here!

All the top brands are to be found along with the more mainstream brands.

Like everything in Bangkok, which is impossible to find. I would recommend getting there by TUK-TUK (not for the feint hearted)....

Without doubt, Chatuchak is the best place to shop in Bangkok. Unless you're looking for computer stuff, then you'll want to go to PantipPlaza - but that's another story....

As a fairly regular visitor to Bangkok, I always book flights and then sort out my own accommodation rather than get a package deal. Accommodation is cheap and plentiful there, we're talking £10 - £15 per night for what might equate to a three star... more
