As you arrive on the coach this beautiful hotel stands before you and upon entering the inside is better. We were given a map of the building and told where to find our room which at first we were quite daunted as the hotel is huge but we found it quite easily. We were in bock B with a ground floor and a beautiful view of Fuertaventura. ...the same, the maids kept this spotlessly clean coming every day.
The hotel itself was the same the maids were always out cleaning from early morning to around 4pm along with the gardeners aswell.
The staff at this hotel are all friendly the staff at reception could go that bit further but we didnt really have much to with them so that didnt really matter but even on this note they were very helpful.

The food what can i say it was lovely even my fussy 5 year old found something to eat and that is saying something. A small bit of advise we did find if you went in after 9am for breakfast they did run out of cups and glasses so maybe its best to go before that,i did notice though that around 9.45 it had quitened down again,we normally ate around 8.30am and that was fine. Also for evening meals if the restaurant is busy take your food through to the Italian part as that is much quiter.the food you couldnt complain from lovely salads to carvery meets beautiful.
The hotel has a snack bar which also serves food and at 5-6pm it does lovely pancakes we only found late at evening it was self service to toasties but that was enough if you just wanted a little something.
The swimming pols were lovely and spotlessly clean beware they are FREEZING COLD!! but we have always found that in pools within Lanzarote. All the entertainment through the day seemed to be at the top pool and the only downside i can say is that they dont come around and get you involved if you wanted to.
The kids clubs i cant say much about as when my children went they were all very small children so they didnt want to join in.
The only downside i can say about this wonderful hotel is that the entertainment on an evening was very poor.We would normally have our meal at 8pm and after that there was nothing much to do apart from drink our two children on the 2nd week became slightly bored and we had to venture that bit further..
The hotel is situated at the far end of Playa Blanca a lovely walk to the Rubicon Marina is about 25mins we only did it the once as the weather was really hot. This has got a few shops and bars and theres also bowling if you want to give it a whirl. Another tip be extremly careful if you go for a walk at night as we once did the pathway only has lights from the hotel and a short way on you have to leave this for a couple of mins to go on the beach My husband fell over a massive rock in the middle as you couldnt see it so my advice is if you have a small torch take it with you as we had to turn around and go back.
At the back of the hotel is the beach its quite rocky but we found it lovely anyway as it was quite cooling with the sea breeze our children wrote there names with the rocks and from the top of the hotel you could see them. The sea is lovely however another word of Warning when you are in the sea you cannot sea the bottom and there are quite alot of rocks we sliced our feet so try and feel your way until you get passed them..
On the othereside of the hotel at the front you can take a 10 min stroll to the beautiful beach of Papagayo. You dont find many people there and the sea is beautiful the sand is aswell. The walk is down a cliff so if you have a buggy or are unstable on your feet i wouldnt recommend this otherwise you cant go to this hotel without giving it a visit.
Playa Blanca is a good hours walk or you can take the free shuttle bus there. There is a market every weds and sat only small but its ok. We found on market days the bus was very busy but they did go drop off and then come straight back. The town itself has the Harbour where you can catch the ferry to Fueraventura it also has shops, bars and restaurants.
This is an amazing hotel and the only thing that lets it down is its entertainment, for people without children i would recommend it but not with there isnt enough for them to do.
Advantages: All inclusive Disadvantages: Miles from anywhere
...the first of the famous Papagayo beaches. A word of warning here though, as these are nudist beaches, and there are some strange sights to be seen there!
The hotel had its own semi-private beach at the back of the hotel just beyond the fence although this wasn't up to much, mainly black rocks with black sand. Also near this beach was what looked like a private 'house' with chickens, and a rooster, so not much chance to sleep in on a morning if your ... ...place to stay if all you're looking for is somewhere to spend a nice peaceful week - no good though if you want to go on a pub crawl each evening as there aren't any nearby! If we go back to Lanzarote we will definitely consider the Papagayo Arena again. ...

I went to this hotel last december with partner and little boy aged one at the time.
What can I say, what a beauty of a hotel. Everything about it was perfect.
Its a 4 star hotel and rightly so.
Arriving at the hotel we could tell we were a little out of the way but the exterior looked beautiful. As we entered the reception area I knew we were going to have an amazing time. The interior was breathtaking. Very high standard. Quality furnishings.
... ...and were brought to your room shortly after you got to your rooms. Reception staff checked us in quickly, but I never felt rushed they were friendly, polite and professional at all times. In fact all staff were, never had any issues with anyone. A map was given to us as the hotel is huge, but you soon get used to it.
BEDROOMS.
Out of this world. The rooms are large in size, bed is huge and comfy, high standard, quality furnishings, mini bar, and ...
