I stayed at this hotel for one week in July 2005. It was brilliant. The hotel looked classy from the inside and out, and was only a short way from the shops and restaurants in Paphos.

Check In: I arrived at this hotel with 2 other family members, it was night time and we were all feeling tired and stressed. The check in to the hotel was quick, even though there was only one receptionist there. We quickly found our room on the bottom floor of the hotel, just a little way down the corridor. What we thought was the bottom floor was actually not though, as we found out, you had to go downstairs to get to the pool and the other facilities.

Room: The rooms were lovely and spacious, with two big beds and large bathroom. In the bedroom there was a kettle, and everything else for making tea. The milk, coffee, sugar and teabags were refilled everyday when the cleaners came to tidy up.

Food: Everyday we got up and went to breakfast in the hotel, as this is an all inclusive hotel it is free, and that was from 7-10.30am.
There was a wide range of food; lots of healthy fuit and vegetables on a big table in the middle of the dining hall. Over in the corner, chefs were making pancakes and chips in front of us, and over on the other tables were cereals and toast and other delicious things.
Lunch: This was good, we mostly ate the chips which were lovely, but the range of food wasn't as big as it was at dinner or breakfast, but it was good, with fruit and vegetables as well. Drinks and ice cream were free here as well and you could get them whenever you wanted until about 5pm.
Dinner: This was great, with lots of different fishes and meats to choose from and other healthy food. There was a good selection for dessert as well.

Pool: The pool here was great, the photo's that you see here just don't do it justice. It was quite large, and warm, and so was the baby pool, which was just shallow enough for the mother and baby to play around in.

Hotel Grounds: The hotel grounds were fantastic, there were slides and see saws for the children in one area , on a path that led down to the sea. On this path, there were lsuh green bushes and grass, which had lots of sunbeds on in case you didn't want tot sit by the pool or the sea. There were little walls next to the bushes which had lot's of cute little lizards on it aswell. On the other side of the path and pool, there were the showers and more flowers and bushes.

Beach: The beach was never crowded, with only about ten people on it at a time, and it was stunning. The sea was warm and clear, if a little stony, and there was a good range of watersports to do, such as para gliding or going on a banana boat.

Hotels Beach Bar: This was excellent, with a range of activities going on throughout the night. There was karaoke and bingo which was great and it was really fun to join in and the people there were just lovely. On one night there was karaoke and we all got necklaces made out of flowers (like Hawaiian people wear), but unfortunately a resident cat thought it would be fun to rip up!

At the other bar which you could get the ice cream at in the day, there was always Cypriot people there singing at night. It was really lovely just to go and sit and have a drink and listen to the people.

On the ground floor, next to the restaurant, there was a shop which sold everything from jewellery to food to moisturiser. There was a wide range of magazines and snacks there and sun creams and other essentials, if you couldn't be bothered to walk down the road to get some. This was handily situated right next to the elevator.

Next to the lobby, there was a clothes shop inside the hotel. This sold very fashionable clothes and jewellery and swimsuits. The clothes in here were rather expensive though (I bought a bikini there which was £30!)

In the lobby there were some very comfortable chairs and sofas to sit on in the day or night, where the barmen would come upstairs and bring you a drink, which was very relaxing. If you went out the door on the opposite side of the lobby, you would go outside and find yourself on a platfom kind of thing which you had to go down to get to the pool. There were chairs out here as well if you wanted to sit and have a drink. Standing on here you could see all the way out into the sea and the view was just beautiful. If you looked down you could also see the pool and the lush green gardens.

If you walked down the road for approximately 500 yards, you would come to a range of bars and restaurants and shops. The restaurants in bars were very classy and nice, providing you with a range of foods, salads and desserts.
The shops were good, with things to buy for the pool, such as lilos and balls, sunglasses and hats, suncream and ciggarettes, and many other things that the holiday maker needs.

Overall, this was a great hotel and I would rate it as a four star instead of three.
The people and staff there are second to none friendly, and will do anything to help you. When I was sick in the night and my family member went to get some things to clear it up with from reception, they were very helpful and provided her with everything that she needed.
The food was great, and so were the facilities and range of activities to do there. The grounds and hotel were great, and so was the whole of Paphos. I would definately go back there again.
