I visited Pathos the week before october half term last year and what a trip. I arrived at about luch time to a taxi that had been booked for me and my family. We got a really nice welcome and were soon on our way to our holiday resort. We got settled and took a stroll to the nearby beach, which was somewhat dissappointing. We were expecting to find a nice tidy beach instead it had had construction happening on the site where the sewage pipe had been removed from the ground and it was not filled it again leaving craters all over the path, so we decided to go back. The next morning we went into pathos for the market. There were so many stalls, all with their own unique produce which most was hand made, including some incredible jewellery at incredibly cheap prices. We had a drink in one of the local restaurants and liked the company so much we came back every day of our holiday. Unfortunatly for me, there were so many adverts of football matches being shown but that didn't phase me either. The entertainment team at my holiday village were so kind and talented that they made the holiday. there were laughs the entire time and i didn't really want to leave at the end of the week. the food was always spectacular and the weather only showed rain for one of the seven days we were there, so coming from cornwall this was a big relief to find the weather hadn't followed us. Unfortunately the lunchtime menu wasn't as adventurous as it could have been because it was a predominantly english resort and so they catered for the tastes of the british people. There was always night entertainment in and out of the holiday village. going into town for dinner was so nice and calming because although their were a lot of the local children around, they were so well behaved and so courteous towards anyone and everyone and everyone always had smiles on their faces and it was clear to see why that was true. they come from a gorgeous part of the world and are healthy cos of the food they eat. all round brilliant trip
