Jo's Diner, what an unfortunate name for such a lovely restaurant! makes you think Americanisms!!! Maybe time to change back to Anarita Tavern. Because unfortunately, due to the name, we like most other people thought Jo's Diner was a fast food type restaurant, and definitely not a likely place to visit! How wrong were we! Its a lovely little restaurant in the small village of Anarita. Where you are greeted with a warm welcome and great food, and in the summer weather the courtyard is excellent for outside dining including the gazebo's scattered around the courtyard. It's the combination of terrific Cypriot food with a hint of Greek and most or all of the produce is locally sourced. It most definitely has the best Rack of Ribs on the Island. Christmas day dinner is the best we have ever tasted, with plenty to eat. Most of the desserts are home made and how delicious are they! Prices are very reasonable! If in doubt about which wine to drink with what ask! They have some lovely local village wines on offer. It is a family run business and they are lovely people! So go visit!!!!
