Firstly I would not rate paradise cove as 3 star hotel. This is up there on 4/5. It is not quite 5 star but the quality is there to be seen.

It is set in enclosed grounds with a private (man made) beach. The views from the rooms is stunning, however some rooms have Palm tress obstructing you line of sight.

It is the perfect place to go on Honeymoon (most of the clients are honeymooners). The staff are very friendly and always looking to help. They go as far as remebering each guests names to add the little bit of personal touch to the whole experience. The food is well prepared and meals are good. There is usually a set menu with a few choices, however if you talk to the staff in the morning they will see what they can do if you request (I stayed 14 days..requested on 12 of them!). Breakfast is nice and varied, having a vairety of fresh fruits, choice of cerelas and breads. Hot breakfast is also served in the form of bacon and tailored omlette. Having french owners there are the usuall european style breads and cakes available.

The rooms are spacious and cleaned twice each day, magically when you are not there. As with all hot countires, there is a problem with insects (ants) but this can not be helped and are harmless.

It is quite expensive to buy food or drinks from the hotel ( 5 euros for a drink and most luches costing about 10-20 euroes), but a short taxi into the island or a call to the local pizza hut and you get a few bargains!

The hotel also offers water activities free of charge such as water sking, water tyres and boat rides out into the indian ocean. They also have on offer a Katmarang ride which is also free, though you have to pay for lunch (30 euros per/person). The ride itself is excellent and takes you onto an island just north where you can snorkle or just laze around on the white sand beach.

Overall I would go again, though only if I was getting married again, or an aniverssary.

This hotel is not a place for kids and is tailored to be romatic and ideal for honeymoons

Hi. I noticed your review did not have enough information on it to "convince" someone to want to stay at this hotel. Please look at one of my hotel reviews for some ideas. Hope this helps. Take care.
