Advantages: Good for all the family, Great fun, Entertaining, Something to do on a rainy day Disadvantages: Expensive
each individual mini game in the Wii Sports Resort and scored them out of five in how much I enjoy playing on them.
All games on the Wii Sports Resort are suitable for children and the whole family.
Here they are! ?
???Jet Ski Game???
In this game you are in a jet ski on the sea, and you have to drive through these goals in the water, you pick up points as you go through them.
For this game you need two parts of the remote, one which already comes with the game. I found this game quite enjoyable but it does get a little bit boring after a while, well I think it does anyway.
As both my dad and my littlest sister enjoy this game, I think this game is good for all ages and would recommend it to anyone.
In my experience with playing the game I find it fun and enjoyable, and would rate it 4/5.
???Frisbee game???
This is ...
Advantages: Some great mini-games that really show off the MotionPlus accessory Disadvantages: Expensive to fully kit out two remotes. One or two less compelling mini-games
or hit a milestone. Like Wii Sports, you can use the personalised Mii characters created on the Wii console throughout the game.
THE GAMES
We only have the one MotionPlus enabled remote, so the games we are playing at the moment are limited to those in which are either single player, or you can share a remote. Each game starts with a tutorial (which you can skip through by pressing a button on the remote) and each time you beat an opponent or finish a game, you are given a number of points which are entered against a progress chart. The next time you play a computer player, you are assigned an opponent with a similar skill level. High scores in each sport are also saved.
Swordplay (Rating ****)
Synopsis: This game has three modes: (a) Duel (one or two players simultaneously) which involves attacking your opponent ...
Advantages: Lots of fun for all the family. Superb graphics. Compellingly addictive. Disadvantages: Only 12 sports featured, some of which aren't that fun to play.
of energy (as does happen quite frequently). Both versions are in a race format, where the rest of the cyclists are controlled by the computer.
AIR SPORTS:
A mixture of flying planes and even skydiving. In skydiving you have to float through the air in free-fall to connect with other skydivers for a picture to be taken. The more people you cling onto, the more points you get. Plane flying is simply manoeuvring a plane through floating bollards to earn points. Neither of these games offer any real playability and can quite easily get boring.
So overall, Wii Sports Resort is a fun and entertaining game, best played with other people for the ultimate gaming experience. A brand new copy would probably set you back around £30 - £40, which is rather expensive, but if you are buying a Wii console anyway, you can usually get this ...
