Well my family and I had this holiday booked since the end of January so we had been looking forward to it all year. Neither of us had ever been to Lanzarote so we didn't know what to expect. It was my mum and brothers first time abroad where it was hot; they've been place in Europe France mainly on previous holidays but not a sunny holiday. It was also my little brothers first time on a plane so he was well excited.

I wasn't actually meant to be going on this holiday; it was originally just my mum, her boyfriend and my little brother going. I had my own plans, but you know what happens to plans. Anyway basically I got out of a relationship so my mum didn't want me on my own and invited me to go with them. Luckily the apartment booked slept 4 people anyway so ...

I would say the hotel is more suited to adults and off season thevast majority of people on the complex seem to be over 60.
**************ENTERTAINMENT****************
I liked the entertainment but it really didn't start until late at night, but the shows are good quality. Nothing out of the ordinary, the standard singing acts that you get in any hotel.
***********RESORT**********
I would recommend Los Cristianos more as a starting point to explore the Island, or for those wanting to relax more around their hotel. It really does not have enough in the way of shopping to keep you occupied for 2 weeks !!! You can go into Playa De Las Americas, which costs about 5 Euro each way in a taxi. If you want to go on up to Torviscas it will cost about another 8 ...
Advantages: It has 18 wheeler in the arcade! Disadvantages: It has secret communes of people hidden away...
I'm laughing as I'm writing this, because I simply cannot believe what we've just experienced! We booked with National Holidays and were given The Norbreck Castle as a dwelling place! I got onto the net and couldn't believe my luck when I was presented with beautiful pictures of a fantastic castle with amazing facilities! We travelled down on the coach looking forward to our stay at this amazing castle!
The coach arrived and my jaw quite simply hit the floor. It looks like an eastern european prison. The driver on the coach then announced, "Oh, and by the way folks, you can't check into your rooms untill 3pm!" Which was great, considering it was 10am.
