Not a fantastic day out, poor and outdated facilities, overpriced and not worth a £44 family ticket.. When we arrived there was a queue of at least 100 cars and one person, yes, one taking payment, before you could enter park. So you can't even park and have a look at prices, facilities etc, you have to pay then and there. Then inside it was all pretty poor. Children's play areas, much promoted on their website were old and in places didn't seem the safest. Animal enclosures were pretty poor as well and simply didn't compare with the likes of Chessington and Colchester. Park was poorly laid out and you have to cross the busy park road in order to get a drink, play in the park etc
