Advantages Large rooms, good facilities, large pool area, clean!!!
Disadvantages Busy main road at front of hotel - crazy portuguese drivers!!!
Il start with the hotel itself. its massive! it has over 500 rooms so there is always someone new to talk to by the pool! the reception area is grand, clean and spacious, and there are always plenty of friendly staff on to help you out. there are also a variety of different shops here from news agents, jewelers, clothes and alcohol shops, all at great prices.
the hotel is easy to navigate around and has plenty of lifts and stairways for you to get around. the hotel corridors are always spotless. the hotel has a large outdoor pool at the back, which has varying levels of depth, so there is something for everyone from kids to divers. there are also plenty of sun loungers around the pool and loads of space to wander around. there is an outside bar and there is usually always some kind of entertainment on from kids quizzes to relaxing music.this hotel also has a large indoor pool which is heated and a gym for all you fitness freaks!!
The rooms are spacious, ours could have comfortably slept 6 or 7 people but was a two person room! the cleaners came round every day to change towels ect. and the standard of clenliness was excellent - the room has a fridge/ freezer, cooker, kitchen sink - everything you need for self catering (although there are many excellent, cheap restaurants nearby) and also a T.V. there was plenty of storage space for clothes and belongings, as well as a safe for the more important items. the bathroom has both a shower and bath, and was spacious and well designed with a huge mirror as the centre piece! - all in all the rooms were fantastic.The beach is about a 10/15 min walk, which is plesent in the sun but taxi's are cheap and only take a couple of mins( ask the reception who will happily phone you one), there is a huge supermarket only 3-4 mins walk away, and plenty of shops all around this area no longer than 5 mins away. the strip is 10 mins in the opposite direction and it is easy to get to.
all in all, a great hotel, excellent staff, great holiday!!!Detailed Rating
