Advantages: Nature is well preserved Disadvantages: I do not know
Parati is the name of an area where you can find historic monuments, both private houses and churches, and nice beaches. I was invited to join a group of Brazilians to Praia do Jabaquara, which I am happy to recommend. The beach is very big and the water is not too deep, so you can either swim or just walk in. I believe on all beaches in this area you find small bars and restaurants by the sea. The food was good, may be not as cheap as I would have expected. As someone wrote here already, Parati is also famous for his Festa Junina parties, in June, although in that period I think the temperature is cooler ...

Advantages: Nice beaches Disadvantages: A bit expensive

Advantages: A reasonable price for Finland, great breakfast, very clean and comfortable Disadvantages: Rooms are quite small, lack of parking spaces may be a problem for some

Look hard, it's not easy to spot. The doorway looks like all the doorways on the block which is full of shops and offices. There is an entry buzzer to let you in; once you check in you'll have a key for this door. The B and B is up a couple of flights and there's no lift. It's not too bad but people with mobility problems should be aware of this.
We hadn't booked in advance but there was a room available. We were checked in without fuss and while the owner wasn't effusive she was friendly enough. The bedrooms are off the main corridor as are the shared shower rooms. This does mean a certain amount of noise as ...
