I have been to Centre Parcs (SHERWOOD) a few times, and thought I'd share my experiences with this review. The last time I visited Centre Parcs was with my partner in February of this year - the only time I have ever been during the Winter months, but as it is both of our birthday's around January/February time, my partner took me as a birthday treat, and I have to say it was probably the best birthday present ever. We stayed in an 'Executive Lodge', which was a two-storey house, and were there from Friday morning - Monday afternoon.
ARRIVAL
When you arrive at Centre Parcs in Sherwood Forest, you are told you will not be able to enter your accomodation until around 3pm. I was slightly put out by this, as we had arrived at 10am, and would have to leave our car within one of their carparks (you are not allowed to drive ...

Advantages: fun, lots to do Disadvantages: expensive!
would go on for ages and you'd all fall asleep but other activities available include:
* Archery
* Paintballing
* Volleyball
* Line dancing
* Children's tennis class
* Soft ball
* Walk in the forest
* Family quiz
* Music classes
* Rollerblading
There is also a creche available for your children.
**How could it be improved**
Although I do really rate Center Parcs highly I would like to see a few improvements. I was disappointed to see that there were no activities for the under 12 months. It would have been nice to have had a baby class of some description whether it be yoga or sing and sign or whatever, it would have been nice for my baby to have had an activity to do too.
I would also like to see the prices be a little more fair or maybe have some offers on if you book over a certain amount. It does get extremely ...

After the destruction of the dome that housed many of the facilities in the fire of 2002 Center Parcs Elvedon has risen from the ashes, but is it bigger and better?
Firstly for those of you who are unaware of what Center Parcs is.
Center Parcs are large family holiday villages set in forests. There are four sites in GB Elvedon Sherwood Forest Longleat and Oasis in the Lake District. There are also villages in France Holland and Belgium.
Elvedon is the village that we return to again and again having visited twice a year for the last eight years.
Elvedon village is set in 400 acres of Thetford forest near Brandon in Suffolk. The site has lakes and streams and varied wildlife.
