A must see in Paris!!
Advantages: Situated in the center of Paris, so offers a good view of most parts of the city. Disadvantages: there might be a long line to go to the top
...The Arc is located at the beginning of the Avenue des Champs Elysees, therefore it's a good idea to visit the Arc de Triomphe on a day you planned to do some shopping. That will save you some time. Also, you should really go up to the top of the Arc, you will have a very good view of Paris due to it's central location. It's also a monument that looks very different during the day and at night so I would advise to see it both ways. enjoy! Feel free ...

Very impressive
Advantages: Very impressive if you're into modern buildings Disadvantages: Not typical Paris at all!
...staying in a hotel near La Defense. I was travelling for business, not pleasure, and therefore had not looked at a guide book about it before I arrived. When I stepped out of the La Defense metro station I had not been expecting anything and was so impressed with what I did see. A skyful of what are to me beautiful, modern, oddly-shaped skyscrapers. I thought it was a wonderful site, amazingly modern looking in a city where so much stature is placed ... ...Techniques), the oldest building in la Défence? In 1958, when the CNIT was built the architecture was considered revolutionary – it only stands on three legs, a bit like my dog! Finally, la Grande Arche is an amazing structure, designed by the Danish architect Otto von Spreckelsen. It is a huge hollow cube made of Carrara marble, slightly out of alignment with the Voie Triumphale – It is so huge that la cathédrale de Notre Dame would ...

Advantages: NONE, SHAME ON YOU DISNEY Disadvantages: way too busy, very expensive for what it is, not fun for my son,
...was booked, three days in disneyland paris, my husband my 4yr old son and me. When we arrived I couldn't believe how busy it was for starters, honestly like cattle being moved from one place to another, and the queues for all the rides were unbelieveable, i mean com on, my son is four and cannot wait for up to two hours just to go on one ride for goodness sake. every ride was the same huge waiting times, on every single day we were there. Also the ... ...because the only times you could meet, say mickey was to queue up and then pay for the photo, There is also no play area like swings or a slide, nothing like that, just more queuing and shops at every turn.
The food is very expensive and not very good. BOOK IN ADVANCE because otherwise you will have to wait up to three hours for service.
im sure that walt disney would be turning in his grave if he saw exactulaly what has become imagination of a ...

Disney Dreams
Advantages: Clean, Employees speak good english, good rides, good ques for rides Disadvantages: expensive, too many similiar shops, restaurants/cafes closed too early
Disneyland Paris is accessible by train, coaches and buses. The resort is split into three sections:
Disneyland
Disney Village
Walt Disney Studio
Disneyland is also split into five different lands.
Main Street USA - You can find the Disneyland Railroad, Horse drawn street cars, Discovery Arcade and a lot of shops. This part of Disney is continuously busy all day as it is the main street into DisneyLand. The Disney Castle can also be found here ... ...eating, there isn't much else to do here.
Fantasyland - The layout is inspired by fairytales. Connected to Main Street USA through the Disney Palace. It is mainly child orientated with rides such as:
"Peter Pan's Flight"
"Alice's Curious Labyrinth"
"Mad Hatter's Tea Cups"
"Dumbo the Flying Elephant"
"Les Voyages de Pinocchio"
But there is one ride in Fantasyland that is well loved by everyone, "It's a Small World". It's well worth the trip ...

Absolutely wonderful experience
Advantages: the biggest collection of art work in the world, including the Mona Lisa and Venus of Milo Disadvantages: too big to do everything in one day
I went to the Louvre 3 times total and enjoyed it every time I went. Access: Metro 1 (yellow line) or 7(pink line) - stop at Palai Royal-musee du Louvre I would suggest starting by the garden entrance to have a global view of how big and beautiful the entire property is. From there, the view is literally breath taking, even though to imagine what it was like when kings were living there, you have to ignore the glass pyramids that were put up by President ... ...When you are ready to go into the museum, you can go inside by entring the bigger glass pyramid, which is pretty interesting and sets the Louvre apart even more. I f you only plan to go once, you will probably have to choose what you really want to see. The museum is so big that you can't really see everything in one day, so unless you plan on coming back another day, you will need to skip some exhibitions. In the Louvre, you have exhibitions about ...
