Disneyland
Review of Disneyland Paris by flowerchi1d

Advantages: Just about everything! Kid friendly and unforgettable
Disadvantages: cost of food

Disneyland is situated in the countryside, about a one hour drive from Charles De Gaux airport. If driving from the airport to the resort, it can be a little tricky to find, with many winding roads and few landmarks. If travelling on the Eurostar, the shuttle actually takes you to within three minutes walking distance of the park entrance and closest hotels. The whole of Disneyland is breatakingly dreamy, a true fairytale land for all ages. Before ...
...castle, there is a long road filled with a variety of helpful little shops. As well as the expected sweet and toy shop, there is a handy little camera shop, who will copy your memory card onto a disc for about €5 if you need to free up some space. The park itself is divided into seperate themed areas, which makes it all incredibly easy to navigate. The rides at Disney are totally family orientated, and mostly suitable for small children as well as ... Read review

Disneyland Paris - a survival guide
Review of Disneyland Paris by nikkiroymarsh

Advantages: Disney madness at it's best!
Disadvantages: Dont forget to take spare credit cards....oh and remortgage you house too

This isn't a review - more of a "Top tips survival guide" 1) During summer months make sure that you have remembered to take the sun cream with you. (sounds obvious i know, but we left ours at the hotel and rather studpidly thought we'd buy some more. At £22 for a small bottle of factor 30, my husband was sent back to the hotel, complaining bitterly, to go and get ours.) 2) Take your own bottles of coke and water. (We got a case of coke and water ...
...with us.) Then to keep it cool fill the sink with cold water and leave the bottles floating in it. 3) If #2 isn't an option - take a WIDE neck sports bottle with you (it will be easier to fill it from the plentiful water fountains if it has a wider neck) 4) Take fruit and healthy snacks with you. (Disneyland is full of greasy fried food and snacks - which is fine once in a while - but unless you want to look like an extra from Dumbo, then not great ... Read review

The Rollercoaster Rocks!
Review of Rock & Roller Coaster,Walt Disney Studio, Disneyland Paris by chugglebunny

Advantages: Great Thrill Ride
Disadvantages: No Bag Storage

...this country. However on the rock n rollercoaster, he could safely and comfortably do his up. Which I thought was nice, one less thing to worry about. Once secured into the seats, the karts edge forward to the "Launch Pad" I mentioned earlier. There is a very loud count down from 3 and then you are shot into the dark room you see from the queue. The seats have built in speakers by your head and various Aerosmith songs are blasted as you are thrown ...
...and strobes. The actual roller coaster, I believe only lasts, at the most, a few minutes but in that time there are at least 2 corkscrews and one vertical loop. The ride is very fast and not for the faint hearted. It does not have slower moments and will leave most people feeling slightly dizzy and disorientated, just what I like in my rides! Once the ride is finished and you get out of the karts, there is a shop where you can buy the photographs ... Read review

Terrified on Rock n Roller Coaster
Review of Rock & Roller Coaster,Walt Disney Studio, Disneyland Paris by amylou2107

Advantages: It generally is fun
Disadvantages: it's popular so long que, nowhere to put bags, not good for wimps

I was absolutely petrified by this ride. The que was really long and you could hear the people screaming just as you took off. I don't advise to wear earings when on it because afterwards my ears were red. The part that holds you in kept bashing againt my earings. You have nowhere to put your bag so I was gripping hold of it for life with my legs, petrified that it was going to fly off. It didn't luckily. It's pretty dark and loud on the ride so ... Disney Dreams
Review of Disneyland, Paris, Paris by amylou2107

Advantages: Clean, Employees speak good english, good rides, good ques for rides
Disadvantages: expensive, too many similiar shops, restaurants/cafes closed too early

Disneyland Paris is accessible by train, coaches and buses. The resort is split into three sections: Disneyland Disney Village Walt Disney Studio Disneyland is also split into five different lands. Main Street USA - You can find the Disneyland Railroad, Horse drawn street cars, Discovery Arcade and a lot of shops. This part of Disney is continuously busy all day as it is the main street into DisneyLand. The Disney Castle can also be found here ...
...eating, there isn't much else to do here. Fantasyland - The layout is inspired by fairytales. Connected to Main Street USA through the Disney Palace. It is mainly child orientated with rides such as: "Peter Pan's Flight" "Alice's Curious Labyrinth" "Mad Hatter's Tea Cups" "Dumbo the Flying Elephant" "Les Voyages de Pinocchio" But there is one ride in Fantasyland that is well loved by everyone, "It's a Small World". It's well worth the trip ... Read review
