Formal elegance Advantages: Elegant, upmarket and nice rooms Disadvantages: Pricey and could be too formal for some ...whilst there was the Sofitel Arc De Triomphe. This hotel was another one of my favourites due to the nice standard although I did prefer the sister hotel Sofitel Le Faubourg out of the two. So yes the hotel is located close to the famous Parisian landmark and is actually at 14 Rue Beaujon and is in the 8th Arondissemont. I wouldn't want a "Holiday Inn" this hotel Advantages: Good location Disadvantages: dull, dull, dull - and not cheap either ...in my room at the Holiday Inn in Paris St Germain de Pres I couldn't help but reflect that the designers drew heavily from that area of the colour palette best characterised by the term 'nicotine'. Not a popular colour card at the 'mix your own Dulux' decorator centre and with good reason. This is a Holiday Inn that's badly in need of refurbishment and I was rather relieved to only be there for the one night. Le meridien Paris Advantages: spotlessly clean, luxury hotel. Disadvantages: costs ...cook, and we decided on Le meridian hotel in Montparnasse – Paris. The hotel was built in 1974 and has 25 floors, with eight lifts (elevators) and 953 rooms. The hotel offers a range of ‘extras’ including, 24 hour room service and reception and concierge desk: Fax machine, interconnecting rooms, e-mail facilities, Currency exchange, Laundry/dry cleaning service, Safe deposit and express check out. Wonderful and romantic Parisian hotel Advantages: Situated in pedestrianised street, full of cafes and shop, near Louvre Disadvantages: None that I found About a month ago my boyfriend suprised me with a trip to Paris! Lucky enough you might think - but the fact that we stayed at this hotel just made it all the better. The hotel is situated on Rue de Montorgueil (No. 56), 75002 . When you first approach the hotel (about 20 mintues walk from the main train station) it seems quite easy to miss, surrounded as it is by cafes with their tables spilling out onto the otherwise quiet and pedestrianised street, ... ...stretches back far behind the street. The lobby is small but very comfortable and beautifully clean and decorated, with dark wood and bright cream carpets. The reception staff are incredibly friendly. Everyone spoke English, but they also tolerated our poor excuse for French, and did everything possible to make us feel at home. A Great Base for Exploring Paris Advantages: Location, Price, Staff Disadvantages: Uphill walk The Comfort Hotel Place Du Tertre is located in the Montmartre area of Paris and is a stone’s throw away from the Sacre Coeur church in one direction and the world famous Moulin Rouge cabaret club in the other. The nearest metro station is Blanche, which is on the blue (number two) line and connects straight to the main train station, Gard Du Nord, which makes it very easily accessible from the airport. From the metro station it is around a five ... ...bed and breakfast at the Comfort Hotel and I would say that this is about as good as you are going to get in terms of value for money. This hotel is no good if you expect luxury – as is always the case, you will have to pay through the roof for that.
