Radisson SAS 4 ****Hotel Charles De Gaulle Airport

Advantages: Near Roissy Charles De Gaulle Airport
Disadvantages: Situated in a business area

There is a free shuttle service running from the airport terminals and vice versa, however they are only small and only carry around 7 people at a time. The hotel is situated in a business area, so you can not really walk around to see nearby villages as it is really quiet and a bit eerie after dark. The hotel itself is clean and tidy,we had trouble to start off with as our keycard would not work to open our room, so had to be allocated another ...
...so we were allocated a third card. Check in however was quick, the shuttle service should in my opinion be larger to carry more passengers as some people had to wait for the next one. The hotel is about six miles away from the airport and the trip takes 10-15 minutes. The room was of normal size as hotel rooms go the bed was made for us daily and the toiletries were stocked up everyday. The restaurant food is really nice,could not fault this ...

The Comfort Hotel Place Du Tertre is located in the Montmartre area of Paris and is a stone’s throw away from the Sacre Coeur church in one direction and the world famous Moulin Rouge cabaret club in the other. Not the 'Paris' experience I was expecting

Advantages: near to subway station and nice bakery
Disadvantages: dirty basic rooms, scary man in our room, generally rude staff

...hostels when I arrived at Hostel Richard. Nothing, however prepared me for the experience ahead of me. On arriving at about 10pm my friend and I found the front door to the hostel blocked shut from the inside with a chair. After knocking on the door a man let us in, and in my opinion was rather rude! Throughout our check in he kept trying to look behind us to see the TV (which appeared to be showing some sort of porn!). The Hostel room was the dirtiest ...
