I wouldn't want a "Holiday Inn" this hotel
Advantages: Good location Disadvantages: dull, dull, dull - and not cheap either
...in my room at the Holiday Inn in Paris St Germain de Pres I couldn't help but reflect that the designers drew heavily from that area of the colour palette best characterised by the term 'nicotine'. Not a popular colour card at the 'mix your own Dulux' decorator centre and with good reason. This is a Holiday Inn that's badly in need of refurbishment and I was rather relieved to only be there for the one night. My room was quite astonishingly drab ... ...Good job the Americans invented Holiday Inn so he can't hold that against the French. My colleague said he was jealous and would rather be in my shoes with Paris at my feet for the evening but I wasn't in any mood to take advantage of it. I was on my own, tired and I had work to do.
I pre-booked online at the Holiday Inn website which they always say is the cheapest way to book but it also means you have to pay in advance. I later found out that ...

Holiday Inn Republic, Paris, France
This is a big hotel near the centre of Paris, the website makes it look great, the façade and location are impressive, its got 4 stars, and loads of facilities BUT don’t go there unless you get a deal for £100 or less for two per night. The rack rate is an incredible 350 Euro’s.
Why is the hotel rubbish?
1 The rooms haven’t been refurbished since, 1985 ish
2 The bar (says on the website ... ...of the other 20 odd Holiday Inn full service hotels I’ve stayed in, how it manages 4 stars is beyond me. In fact the Holiday Inn Express’s I’ve stayed in are better than this place and half the price.
I stay in 100+ hotels every year and this is the worst value for money hotel I’ve been in.
PS It was probably the bar shutting at 11 that irked me the most, and I did actually get a drink served to me in the foyer of the hotel after there was a near ...

A lovely hotel for a romantic weekend away...
Advantages: Excellent location, lovely, newly refurbished rooms, very helpful staff Disadvantages: None
...partner and I visited the Eiffel Seine hotel, Paris, in November 2005, and we were very pleasantly surprised by what we found. After scouring the internet for a reasonably priced long weekend away, we finally booked Paris through Thomson Cities, travelling on Eurostar, staying at this 3* hotel at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The cost quoted on the website was £135 per person for three days including travel, which we thought was very reasonable, ... ...reccomend a stay at the Eiffel Seine. The location of two minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower couldn't be more perfect for a romantic break away. The building work was due to be completed in December 2005, and if the rest of the hotel matches the quality of the rooms then it's definitely worth a visit. If we visit Paris again I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel. ...

Wonderful and romantic Parisian hotel
Advantages: Situated in pedestrianised street, full of cafes and shop, near Louvre Disadvantages: None that I found
About a month ago my boyfriend suprised me with a trip to Paris! Lucky enough you might think - but the fact that we stayed at this hotel just made it all the better.
The hotel is situated on Rue de Montorgueil (No. 56), 75002 . When you first approach the hotel (about 20 mintues walk from the main train station) it seems quite easy to miss, surrounded as it is by cafes with their tables spilling out onto the otherwise quiet and pedestrianised street, ... ...stretches back far behind the street.
The lobby is small but very comfortable and beautifully clean and decorated, with dark wood and bright cream carpets. The reception staff are incredibly friendly. Everyone spoke English, but they also tolerated our poor excuse for French, and did everything possible to make us feel at home.
Breakfast is served in a seperate dining room to the back of the hotel, also beautifully decorated, with wooden floors, ...

Opera Cadet Hotel
Advantages: Good hotel, good location Disadvantages: Small bathroom
...to you about the Hotel Opera Cadet, located in Paris, next to the subway stop of Cadet. I was there in July near 4 days in this hotel and did not have problems ever.
First, it is good placed, so like already I've said, it has nearby both the subway and the buses.
I speak about a reformed hotel (though not too recently). It has 6 floors, 2 elevators and enclosedly private parkings. It has also rooms of meetings, lounge of breakfast and bar, to report ... ...Superiors
- 3 Rooms for handicapped persons
- 45 Doubles - 11 Triple ones (double beds with the supplementary one)
- 16 Triple ones of three beds
- 5 quadruple ones
In all the rooms we can find air conditioning (not all the hotels in Paris have air conditioning), soundproofing, decoration and modern furniture (this puts it in the page)
Complete bathroom, dryer of hair, direct telephone, plug for fax, satellite television with radio and alarm ...
