This is my favorite place to stay in Paris
Advantages: Close to everything and fine dining
Disadvantages: Can be pricey when events come to town
...four time per year and Le Meridien Montparnasse is my top choice when rooms are available.
1. The Gare Montparnasse is just across the street and from there you can access the Metro to all of Paris.
2. The Justine restaurant has a buffet every night that is well worth the 37 Euro price. Excellent food, wine, and service. 3. The rooms are clean, large, and comfortable. Internet service is available in the room for a nominal fee.

...(for more casual dining) and Le Montparnasse 25 for more formal dining and top rated food.
Okay, now the only complaint I can even come up with is that when big events (soccer championships, Paris Air Show, Automobile Convention, etc.) come to Paris, Le Meridien books up very fast and getting a room can be a challenge. During the Paris Air Show I managed to get a room but had to pay "rack rates" (410 Euros per night!!!!) for it. I thought my manager ...

I will not choose Concorde Lafayette anymore
Advantages: Excellent location
Disadvantages: Poor service quality
...that the hotel room at Concorde Lafayette costs 450 euro at that time but we only paid 180 euro as per a business agreement between my company and the hotel. This does not justify the poor quality of the service of course. Now when I arrive to a new city I always check that my hotel room is quite and clean before even I worry about food. ...

Cheap as croissants!
Advantages: Very clean and cheap
Disadvantages: None!
I remember… roughly two years ago it was my first time... my first time in Paris!
I booked the flights and my friend was in charge of the hotel. I am not fussed when it comes to accomodation, as long as it is reasonably close to the centre and clean that is all that counts. I am not fussed about stars and people opening doors for me!
We ended up booking a 2 night break starting from the Friday and the cost was just over €100 and that included breakfast ...
...Sterling, just in case you are not too familiar with Euros). I thought it was a bargain and was very pleased with her choice, after all I would rather spend money doing shopping than giving it away for a room I only end up sleeping in for a few hours!
Check in was pretty fast, and the people wearing uniforms where really friendly, once we registered with them we got our card-key and made our way upstairs using the lifts.

Great Hotel and great location
Advantages: Very Clean and comfortable
Disadvantages: Could be slightly closer
I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in April.
We got the Air france shuttle from Charles De Gaulle Airport to Montparnasse which took about an hour but i can imagine it may take longer in rush hour. It did stop at Gare to Lyon on the way. (Shuttle is 18 euros return or 12 euros one way) The shuttle stops on the same road as the hotel and the hotel is a 2 minute walk away from the stop. So it is very convenient.

...do with a bit of a polish. The hotel staff are very friendly and speak very good English.
We stayed on the top floor and our rooms were impeccable. The rooms were not massive but they were spacious enough (twin room). There was a welcome tray that was replenished everyday and a internet access too (if you have your own laptop that is). There was a tv in our room where you can check your bill, order a wake up call or pay for 24 hour access to films ...

Good hotel in convenient location
Advantages: Good location, well maintained and own car park
Disadvantages: nothing of any note
...is nicely decorated in typical Novotel modern style with a comfortable bar and lounge. Their is also free internet and a Xbox for the kids. Their is also a very useful and helpful Paris Information Office which is open office hours and some useful maps and guides.
The reception staff were very firendly and helpful and spoke good English. The rooms were small but were funcional and well decorated, again in typical Novotel style. Warning when looking ...
...numbers are, don't look like and idiot like I did trying to find you room. The room has a modern tv system with information system and some English language channels.
