Review of Hotel Ritz, Paris by mattsays

Advantages: World famous in the centre of Paris
Disadvantages: Pricey

...word that best describes the hotel is “opulence” High ceilings, luxurious drapes, grand proportions, beautiful furniture, quality all round. The bedrooms were spacious I think about 325 sq ft, there was an entrance vestibule, with bathroom to one side and bedroom straight on. PS I booked the standard hotel room 490 Euro’s per night. The bedroom had a queen size bed, some fine silky cotton type sheets and was incredibly comfortable, mirrored wardrobes ...
...info re Paris and the hotel could be found (pity no one told us about this, we found out just before we left). The bathroom was a good size, but not huge, double sinks with swan neck taps, large cream marble bath with shower (the shower didn’t work properly), slippers were provided as were bath robes (both were to small for me, I’m a 32 inch waist 42 inch chest with size 9.5 feet, not exactly Mr Large). After a soak and a change of clothes we were ... Read review

A lovely hotel for a romantic weekend away...
Review of Eiffel Seine Hotel Paris, Paris by Stizzy1980

Advantages: Excellent location, lovely, newly refurbished rooms, very helpful staff
Disadvantages: None

...partner and I visited the Eiffel Seine hotel, Paris, in November 2005, and we were very pleasantly surprised by what we found. After scouring the internet for a reasonably priced long weekend away, we finally booked Paris through Thomson Cities, travelling on Eurostar, staying at this 3* hotel at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. The cost quoted on the website was £135 per person for three days including travel, which we thought was very reasonable, ...
...reccomend a stay at the Eiffel Seine. The location of two minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower couldn't be more perfect for a romantic break away. The building work was due to be completed in December 2005, and if the rest of the hotel matches the quality of the rooms then it's definitely worth a visit. If we visit Paris again I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this hotel. ... Read review

Advantages: grt location
Disadvantages: --

**** Quality Hotel Pierre Arc de Triomphe Paris**** I stayed in this hotel the second time i visited this city. There are 25 rooms, all en-suite ,single, double and twin. **Location/Getting there** This hotel is located very near the arc de triomphe and down one of the streets is a shuttle bus service which will take you to the airports, both Charles De Gauile and Orily. It is also near a metro stop and a taxi rank. This is how long it will take you ...
...the Champs Elysées : 10 minutes walk From the Palais des Congres : 10 minutes walk From Opera : Direct access by the ligne number 3(2 minute walk). **Reception/staff** I didn't think that this looked very impressive. There was apparently a bar but this was an area with two seats and small work top.Unimpressed.Checking in was okay but they wouldn't except my friends card as it was Bank Of Scotland. The staff spoke basic English well but had problems ... A great Paris hotel
Review of Relais de Paris Lafayette, Paris by fg4f

Advantages: Perfect location, excellent access to Metro and sights.
Disadvantages: Bedroom doors bang loudly when they shut.

The first time I ever visited Paris I stayed at this hotel. I just left it up to my boyfriend and his dad to choose the accommodation as I knew nothing about this city at the time, except that it had the Eiffel Tower! When we looked it up on the internet there were a few flatting photographs, and because it was so close to the Gare du Nord (where we arrive from the Eurostar) it seemed like the perfect little hotel. It's in a great location for ...
...Location It's located in the heart of Paris, it's a lovely traditional looking building and is in the immediate neighbourhood of the amazing St Quention Market. This is a indoor market, it's hard to miss as it's a large metal stucture and is quite impressive and attractive. It's a good place to buy 'real' French food, although there is a no food policy in the hotel. This hotel benefits from excellent access to the Eurostar and Thalys rail ... Read review

Dream Castle is a paradise
Review of Dream Castle Disneyland, Paris by amylou2107

Advantages: beautiful scenery, hotel, good restuarant staff, lovely food, lovely rooms
Disadvantages: receptionists seem constantly grumpy

I stayed at Dream Castle last year on a weekend trip to Disneyland Paris. It was my second option but looking at the website I decided that it was really beautiful and just what we were looking for. We had been up since 3am and arrived at the hotel at 11am thinking that we would be able to get into our rooms straight away, have a shower and then go to Disney. The receptionist seemed slightly rude towards us and told us that someone hadn't checked ...
...We left our bags with the hotel and went to Disney. We came back at 4pm extremely tired, went to our rooms and stayed there the rest of the evening. The room didn't look like it was supposed to to me. I had looked on
